US Election 2024 antics

@AnnieS - agreed.

We did have a brief interlude of civil conversation, from people of varied and nuanced views until it was hijacked again into insults and sarcasm.

Sorry I missed the source of information Alex

Yep. Biden blunderd again. He should have stuck with this game plan and avoided microphones

Trump won this election fairly, squarely and soundly as a well-known quantity – a former president and the most widely discussed man in the world, who will return to the White House in his 10th year at the center of American life.

How many time do we have to listen to this misinformation.

If they keep repeating it, they may honestly believe it, but it’s not the truth.

Trump is going to do it again. Maybe, Maybe. Only one president has did this before.

Right-wing propaganda, who is the producer of this “fact sheet,” There was no strides with the pandemic til Biden took office, and if everyone remembers correctly, Rght-Wingers called the pandemic a hoax, even traitor Don’s Surgeon General admitted to Trump’s many mistakes and miscalculations.

This one’s for Alexander

This is another example of Democrats changing the words around, which changes the point because ng made. Right

This the deal on the tariffs. Trump made it perfectly clear. It’s not that Trump changed his mind. It just, the leaders of those countries are doing as Trump says.

Thank you Robin for your example of what you have been denying throughout the 2024 election, the Christofascist taking over a Democracy, these things always end badly, and unfortunately, American voters will soon be regretting the Christofascist administration they have voted in, freedom loving Americans have much work ahead of us. I’m sure Robin, you and the Fascist GOP will make Adolph proud.

Real news real quick

Time magazine name Donald Trump person of the year.

President Biden commuted the sentence of 1500 people. Pardoned 39 people.

Hamas agreed to a ceasefire deal to allow Israeli forces to remain in Gaza temporarily and provided a list of hostages including US citizens it would release.

Not part of the news.

Isn’t amazing how quick things can move once countries realize that the incoming administration is not going to play games.

Mexico and Canada are making every effort to prevent the tariffs from going into effect. Mexico’s president has done more in the last few days, about the border, then they have the whole time under the Biden and Harris administration.

Other countries are contacting Trump about him wanting to stop friendship payments to foreign countries.

Trump has not even made it into office yet and it seems the whole world is setting up and paying attention to the incoming administration.
It appears to me, since the current joke of an administration, was handing out US tax payers money like it was free. Countries are taking Trumps calls seriously. Not like Biden, where they wouldn’t even take his calls if there was money being offered.

Another truth comes out

Welcome to “US Election 2024 antics”, aka Robin’s propaganda page

Try googling it “Google master Robin”. It’s funny you say you’re “not sure which to believe”, and the biggest clue, it was in the beginning of the Cov.-9 pandemic the ventilators was in short supply, there hasn’t been such a need since. I think the election of traitor Don has frazzled.

and GE Healthcare plan to produce 50,000 ventilators within the next 100 days at a facility in Michigan to assist with the coronavirus pandemic.

Production of the critical care devices is expected to begin with 500 United Auto Workers union members the week of April 20, according to executives at both companies. Ford’s Rawsonville Components Plant in Ypsilanti, Michigan, will be able to produce 30,000 ventilators a month after early July, officials said.

The companies expect to produce 1,500 by the end of April, 12,000 by the end of May and 50,000 by July 4, officials said.

The design of the ventilator is being licensed by GE Healthcare from Florida-based Airon Corp., a small, privately held company specializing in high-tech pneumatic life support products. The devices are less complex than GE ventilators Ford previously said it would assist the company in producing at other facilities.

Ford, in collaboration with GE Healthcare, will leverage the design of Airon Corp.'s FDA-cleared ventilator to produce in Michigan.

“We are really excited and applaud Ford, how quickly it’s mobilized its manufacturing facilities to address the challenges we all face with COVID-19,” Tom Westrick, vice president and chief quality officer of GE Healthcare, said during a call Monday afternoon with media.

The more “basic” ventilators are “well-suited to address the urgent needs during the COVID crisis,” Westrick said. The devices operate on air pressure without the need for electricity, according to Jim Baumbick, Ford vice president of Enterprise Product Line Management.

Trump had ordered GE to produce the needed ventilators, but Ford had made an announcement of it’s commitment to work with GE to produce the ventilators 30 days before Trump had made his demand. AS usual, Robin trying to prop ol’ worthless Don up.

Americans may have to kiss goodbye Walmart’s everyday low prices if Trump’s proposed tariffs go into effect.

That is the point I was making to the haters, non believers. They were under the influence that US manufactures can create production of needed products in short periods of time.

Thabks

They need to jack up the prices of foreign made produce. That cheap stuff that comes in the country is cheap quality and just ends up in the dump.
