US Election 2024 antics

The “haters” argument is so weak, because someone disagrees with you     The point that you were actually trying to make is that it was Donald Trump who was pulling this together, ol’ do nothing Don.

more false propaganda, keep it going Robin rah, rah, rah…wait til them tariffs start sending prices through the roof. Tariffs kill competition, lack of competition increases prices.

Trump was contact yesterday by 3 more European country leaders. The question that does not need to be asked is " why don’t they contact Biden?". Because they don’t want to talk to a bumbling fool! And Harris doesn’t have a clue what’s going on.

Wonder how those pre presidential pardons are going?

In away, I hope he gets them. Then Trump can do as he pleases.:rofl::rofl:

Trump hasn’t even taken office yet and it appears that not only the US thinks that Biden is and was a waste of time but the whole world seems agree.

This is another example of the 'haters". Trying to blame someone else before realizing that they are the true haters.

These kind of clips have no place on the Internet. Ya, ya. All they want to do is shove facts down our throat. Who do they think they are?

This could of prevented the development of the haters that are seeing on the news everyday.

Of course you know this was coming. May not of wanted it. But it here.

This, hopefully will help people understand tariffs better. There is hope.

Inflation in the U.S. is measured by the consumer price index (CPI) calculated by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The highest year-over-year inflation rate observed in the U.S. since its founding was 29.78% in 1778. Since the CPI was introduced, the highest inflation rate observed was 20.49% in 1917. What you are listening to is mambo jambo of right -wing propaganda. Trump had the benefit of coming into on the tails of office an Obama economic growth surge bring our economy back from the 2008 economic downturn, the worst since the great depression. Biden came in behind a “do nothing” Trump in the midst of a world wide pandemic. Over the past 12 months, the consumer price index climbed 2.7%, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Wednesday (posted 12/10/24). That was in line with expectations but higher than the 2.6% annual rate in October. On a monthly basis, the index rose 0.3%, faster than the 0.2% rate in the previous month.

Robin, all I can say, you (and your leader Trump) would make Adolph proud.
Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/ FASH-iz-əm) is a far-right, authoritarian, and ultranationalist political ideology and movement, characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived …
This describes Donald Trump and his extremist following to a “T”.

The cost of living for most basic goods and services has increased by 20% in the past three years.

Consumers pay more close attention to cumulative inflation, and prices are 22.1% more expensive today than they were before the recession began in February 2020.

Let me see if this is clear.
Item “A” cost $100 now $120 or $122

But today it only cost $118 or $120

This is great. This is great :thinking::thinking:

I’ll drink to that!

The reason Australia completely abandoned import tariffs completely in the 1980s is because that is exactly what tariffs didn’t do and we haven’t had a recession since then.

Even as the Reserve Bank tries to rein in inflation with high interest rates (4.35%) we still have falling unemployment. Import tariffs help no one.

For the non Yanks this popped up in my feed which goes into detail on why the Biden pardon of his son is such a serious business. and a lot of detail about the case.

As usual with the “If You’re Listening” podcasts excellent research with no party political bias, let’s face it no one outside the US cares that much to find the detail.

The serious ramifications of Hunter Biden’s pardon

She was misunderstanding that the biggest influencer of the vote was not about abortion right ( which is at state level not federal) but about the economy and illegal immigration.

And she was out there

Now starting in Jan. ‘25 American voters will again, not get what they wanted, but what they deserve. Reading / listening to what TT ( traitor Trump) is saying and watching who he is picking for his various appointees, prices / fuel /health care are going to continue to skyrocket, even TT said “lowering food prices was not going to be easy”, duhhhh, we live in a Corpocracy, Corporations dictate our policies, and no, what is good for Corporations is rarely good for consumers. This is the hilarious part (not funny), the US imports 8.51 million barrels of oil a day, and the US has been able to produce more than enough oil to be self -sufficient since 2018, why? The US prefers imported oil over domestic crude because of the quality difference, with many US refineries being better suited to process heavier, cheaper “sour” crude oil from foreign sources, allowing them to refine it into more valuable products and then export lighter, higher-quality US crude at a higher price; essentially maximizing profit by importing cheaper oil to refine and exporting more expensive domestic oil.Ol’ TT has not exempted oil imports from tariffs, and once those tariffs hit, the oil industry will pass them on to the consumer, so except for Corporate oil’s pockets, increasing US oil drilling is no is of no benefit to the US.

“May we get what we want and never what we deserve”
----- a suggestion that what one receives in life is not necessarily related to how deserving they are.
