As I’m not American I was unaware of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. I had to look it up and check what sort of people were awarded by which presidents. I was expecting the sort of favoritism seen in the British civil awards - medals to big donors to political campaigns, medals to those in the British so called upper class, to long serving civil servants, etc.
Actually it was quite a refreshing list, mostly, of people have succeeded in sport, people who have given the world a lot such a song writers, exceptional people from society and the arts.
So I was pleased to see people like Bruce Springsteen and Steven Spielberg as previous recipients. I doubt if they are seen as cowards. Tiger Woods likewise.
Then there were also errors, surely. Arthur Laffer of the famed and utterly fraudulent Laffer Curve. Who on earth would have given that charlatan a medal?
That is a good example galty. I’ve used other examples of sky news Australia but was informed that was a right wing news agency. So I backed off using them as examples.
But in that clip and many others, sky news uses the left clips, CNN, MSNBC, showing the words coming out of their mouths, as well as articles coming out of their news papers.
News agencies are suppose to be investigative reporters, but all them do is report what someone else has said or printed, without checking the authenticity of factual information.
Every time I see the conduct of the left, it reminds me of socialist party meeting from China or North Korea. It does not matter what their leader says, they act like puppets that everyone stands and claps. That is why I like watching broadcast clips from UK. Australia and Canada. If they don’t agree, they don’t jump to their feet and start clapping like puppets.
You should also read a list of the British honours as most awards are given to “normal” people not just the upper class.

Confirmation bias at play there.
Trump will make the most moronic and abusive comment and all the crowd will cheer it.They even did it at his infamous medal speech.

The problem with Sky News is that it is the mouth piece of Rupert Murdoch hence its tendency to the right, it is staffed entirely by right wing talking heads like Andrew Bolt, Chris Kenny, Miranda Devine (now in New York) etc. Murdoch’s employees know the value of toeing the boss’s line.
Its news value is very limited, it is an opinion broadcaster not news, there are plenty of reliable news agencies, Sky News is not one of them

It isnt a left or right thing - but confirmation bias changes your perspective or how you see left and right rallies differently.
I’m sure I could google and find protestors at left rallies too - but that wouldn’t prove any more than your videos did - except to show one finds what one is looking for - aka confirmation bias.
I don’t claim to have no bias , everybody has bias - but I think one looks at things more objectively when one admits bias and tries to look past it.
Googling for videos to show your side is the opposite of trying to look past it.
