US Election 2024 antics

Well this is an interesting but unsurprising development

These perceptions of American women are getting funnier by the post.

On this point, you are 100% wrong, Hilary actually won the popular vote (vote representing the total votes submitted) in 2016, Trump won the electoral vote, which is easily manipulated through gerrymandering, in 2 election runs, Trump has never come any where near winning the popular vote, there are not enough extremists in the USA for that to happen. Kamala Harris is starting to get endorsements from moderate Republicans, people are seeing and hearing from Trump himself of the dangers of his return to the Oval Office.

***the political manipulation of electoral district boundaries with the intent to create undue advantage for a party, group, or socioeconomic class within the constituency.

I will be very happy to be proven wrong on this.

“You’re not gonna have to vote again.”
He said it.

no, it isnt perceptions of American women - it is perceptions of sexism that exist in America, not the same thing - and as evidenced by the things said i n above posts by Americans.

You are hilarious, and I say this because you think Trump will win, and that will make life different for Christians, like maybe turn the US into a Christocracy, a Christian run State, but that is not going to happen, if Trump wins, he wants to be a dictator, he does not even care about the Christian Right, they are a means to an end. The US is not now, nor ever been, a Christian State, we were found on the promise of religious freedom, the right to believe or not. Were one to look back in history they will find religious states (all religious states) intolerant and brutal, Christianity has carved it’s nitch in it’s history of brutality and intolerance, definitely no less than Islam.
No one can say with any certainty who will win in 2024, but a Trump win would mark the Democracy for all, but the beginning of a brutal period for the USA.

Did you mean to respond to my post? You seem to have misinterpreted why I posted it.

Ok. Name one law where women do not have the same rights as a male.

That was not the only time that the popular vote was different from the electorial vote.

It the way the law was written. Don’t like the law, talk to your representative. They are the ones that write the law.

And again, misunderstanding on what he said. Have to learn the way politicians speak.
He was saying, they don’t have to “get out” and vote because every state have “mail in” ballots and with the technology we have, that is a high possibility.

So, not the most qualified person or not the most voted for person should be president. But what gender the person???

Ya, that’s not the way this Republic works.

I was referring to the ERA. The Equal rights amendment to the US Constitution has never been ratified by all US states. Until that happens women in the US will not have the equal rights to men regardless of state by state case law. If it’s not in your constitution it isn’t set in stone. Women may have rights for one thing in one state but not another. There’s no consistency and until the ERA is ratified universally women do not have equal rights to men.

All I’m asking for is one example!

Just the point of, the American vote should not be manipulated by any party. The popular vote (and only the popular vote) represents the true vote of the people. Were Trump to some how win in 2024, it would mean at some point a civil breakdown in US society, the majority of true Americans would never stand for any type of dictatorship, much less a Fascist dictator ship, and any government built around any religion is a threat to any diverse society.Trump and his followers (and his GOP supporters) are the enemies Democracy…

To be truthful Robin, what you do not know is what you do not care to know, you are intelligent, misguided.

I knew you wouldn’t want to talk about the ERA.

Actually Ms. AnnieS, I must extend to you me most humble apologies, I was scimping through posts…
On the subject of Trump’s speech telling Christian women they will not have to vote again in 4 years, he just did Kamala Harris a favor, he is openly declaring voting will not be necessary, in actuality, a dictatorship. This will turn off many of his less extreme supporters, most independents, and actually many Christian organizations. The big issue of Trump’s most ardent supporters is the southern border, which NO administration in recent history has properly addressed, and apparently has neither the brains or the incentive to address.

And here is a person that want to take away individual rights.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for that statement. Showing how socialist/fascist really are.

Letting the population of big cities, cities that have more population then some states, and have the major farming states, with lower population become the peasants, that will have no say.

Trying to make someone look like a dictator or a fascist, in reality is projecting and stating ones own goal. So take away to vote of the peasants and let the freaks of big cities dictate what the peasents want.

Again, thank you for showing true colors.
