Exactly! This is my second clue of the day.
Messed it up AGAIN!
Itâs the participation that counts
. . . though an occasional win would be nice too, Chilli.

Wordle 245 6/6
So annoying!
I couldâve solved it in 3, but no, it took me 3 wrong choices!
If you click on SHARE at the bottom of your result/statistics card that pops up giving your score, it says âcopied results to clipboardâŠâ

I canât believe that (according to the Daily Wail) people are actually complaining about todayâs word, saying it isnât even a real word, and that now the NYT is just making words up. Good grief, if their vocabulary is that bad, perhaps they shouldnât be playing word games?
SPOILER ALERT:
these people shouldnât be doing wordle.
Someone should tell them that itâs a Game! âŠ
you donât have to win every time - and every word theyâve never heard of before has just widened their vocabulary.
Maybe some words do not translate well from one side of the pond to the other, though - maybe they are not as familiar with words Brits use frequently and vice versa.
Pathetic
Get a dictionary!
They say this every day. Seems there must be some Gen Z/Y âbanned word listâ at schools.
Apparently some universities are putting trigger warnings on the book 1984. Perhaps to stop young people realising they are being manoeuvred towards Newspeak. Daily wail has picked up on this.
All I can say is that a lot of thickos read the DM.
I would be laughing hysterically at this if it wasnât so disturbing. Is it any wonder that we have a generation of delicate little snowflakes if even the universities are attempting to protect them from âupsetting and offensiveâ content? I always believed universities were there to encourage undergrads to broaden their minds.
Well Iâm not going to disagree with you there.
This is very true. The article is based on comments by the twitterati, so itâs entirely possible they were Americans, who knows? Time this British paper did its research properly, but thatâs probably expecting to much from the Wail.
Reply from DM reader: Dictionary? Whatâs one of them?
Thatâs the future of this country, Iâm afraid.
