We have had rain, high winds, and now snow in upstate New York today. Lucky there won’t be much accumulation, only an inch or so. But more of the same over this weekend. It’s 30 degrees out now, dropping to 22 overnight. Cuddling weather, I still say…
Still blowing a gale here. Its dark but I can see a gap where a tree was. I heard a chain saw earlier so it must have been blocking the road.
Perhaps we should have a whip round to get poor Judd some clothes to cover up his, erm, modesty?
Now it’s about 23-00 on Friday 26/11/21; it’s windy with wet snow, but it’s not sticking
How big a whip around? How small is his modesty that needs covering .
Oh shucks, that was a bit saucy.
Bet he . . . . No, best not.
You mustn’t lead me astray Morti. Whatever would the Vicar say.
Bet the old Yorkie’s ears are burning tonight though . . . . Hah.
They’re a bit … erm, psychedelic.
Yes but that way you’d always know where he was, and you’d be able to keep an eye on him!!!
All change overnight and this morning, blowing a gale, cold but dry.
It was blowy and banging last night but I didnt look out the window . Fencing is still up it was replaced 6 months ago at huge cost so I’m feeling lucky . I so hate storms . No snow though it’s cold.
Back into hibernation for me
Winds have abated here now. We had a lucky escape when a tree came down behind our house. The trunk snapped above ground level and fell on the road. It was dark but I heard the chain saws going. If it had came straight across it would have hit our conservatory. It certainly lets more light into our house.
Ill wind that blows no good, this one lets more light into your house, win win .
Good grief, Rox, that looks like a mini tsunami!
Have to go out soon - to the village post office - dragging my heels a bit as Arwen is still throwing things around out there!
Just wanna say a big thanks to Dave at number 26 for the gazebo, it looks lovely in my garden.
A huge 15 foot branch blew off my sycamore tree last night & landed on my overhead power line. I still have power to the house but they told me to keep away from the line as it is still live but much lower than it was… now about 5 feet from the ground.
I phoned around midnight, but they are so busy they haven’t manage to get here yet. Just hoping no big lorries come down the lane & dont notice that the power line is much lower now as the pole is on the opposite sude of the lane!
