You’ll have to get your thermal long johns and vest out, Judd.
Away wi yer woman - I’ll stick to wearing my tee-shirt until it really gets
cold.
My brother moved up Yorkshire this year … I warned him it was rough .
Just the weather I trust that you mean? Unless he’s in Bradford.
I just looked out of the front window and all the cars seemed to have a light covering of snow - but then I realised the sudden pinging I’d heard against the back dining room window must have been hail. So, not very nice out there, but nothing compared to what’s going on in the far north east.
@Morticia I loved that video - yes, magical just about sums it up. Really beautiful.
And trousers, i hope.
DAMN AND BLOODY BLAST That’s one whole side of the back fence down, bits everywhere. This is going to cost a pretty penny before the nights over.
Blimey Rox, that sounds bad, poor you.
Only when I go out to the bins…
Behave. We’ll have Morti telling us off.
Its a bit blowy in Bedforshire, I’ve just moved and am grateful not to spend the night worrying about the enormous tree in my old garden!
Fingers crossed we’re all safe tomorrow.
Welcome, Duckling.
Welcome to the melee Duckling - hope it doesn’t get too windy for you down in Bedfordshire.
Hee . .hee …moi? Wouldn’t dare.
Hiya …I know what you mean I had a couple of big trees in mine. Watching the branches whip about could be nerve wracking.
Really wild now, time to batten down the hatches - have just heard the lid of my incinerator bin blow off and clatter around the back patio.
It gives a certain degree of comfort when you’re snug and warm indoors while the weather is lashing at the windows, don’t you think?
Yes it does … I can hear what sounds like hail thrashing my window as we speak… tis jaffa cakes and a nice hot drink for me now.
I shall feel a bit better in daylight.
It gives me the willies when its pitch black and i can’t see what’s going on.
The damn bloke next door has got a huge Conifer which he wont trim down.
Its over twice as high as my bungalow roof, and only about 15 ft from my kitchen.
Its windy here in the west coast…a few satellite dishes have blown off and the usual Friday night gaggle of drinkers are screaming loudly, when they get blown over the road, but that’s it. Pouring rain too. East coast is far worse though and lasting all tomorrow. Stay safe everybody
Could well be an interesting Good Morning thread tomorrow!
