Cute
I watched it, it was a bit smaltzy but watchable.
or cute! There’s something a bit more grown up about it than the usual shmaltzy.
just finished S2, truly excellent. Can’t wait for S3.
I spent half the show worrying that it would take a sinister turn. It’s certainly thought-provoking
me too, the birth scene was excruciating though
I am in the middle of watching “Red Sparrow” starring the Hunger Games actress. It is probably a bit too long and has a bit of gore but is keeping me entertained on a wet Friday.
Can’t find this on Netflix
It must be country specific
@Bruce, @AnnieS, and @d00d, I am so pleased to see this series mentioned. I started it last night and am absolutely delighted with the writing which is fast paced and delightfully dry-humored. I adore the lead character, Kate. Highly-recommend!
Watched “Free State of Jones” Thursday. Was about Some counties in Mississippi during the Civil war. It points out some misinformation/understanding of the Civil war.
What a co-incidence, I just downloaded Series 2 of Temple.
Yes, excellent show
I am watching the new series 4 of The Good Place. They seem to have added a couple of episodes to series 3 - overall I enjoyed 1 through 3 though I had reservations about it at first.
I really enjoyed season one and then it just started to lose it’s magic
I get that, am starting to feel the same about the Big Bang Theory - just up to series 7, that is the problem with US series, they ever quite know when to stop.
They have revamped the original idea in The Good Place, I hope it can continue for this one series.
I persevered with the Big Bang Theory, mainly because I had watched Young Sheldon first and I liked the development of the characters and pithy one liners. It was a bit wobbly in the middle but picked up in later seasons. I also enjoyed the science bits which make physics almost sexy.
Ive been watching this. There are so many holes in the plot. The one I’ve just noticed is the ability of obtaining a mobile phone signal under temple station, when it’s not even possible on most underground platforms. Then there’s the missing surveillance cameras and are they touching in and out every day? The blindfolds would draw attention. Etc
I know. And it goes on. Certainly a weird brand of humour.
