I usually avoid Christmas movies but one I enjoyed actually had scathing reviews and took the lyrics of a George Michael song literally.
It is soppy but I enjoyed it.
I am pretty sure it is still on Netflix.

I recently watched that one, yes soppy, but enjoyable.
Oh yes, I saw that one some time ago, remember it being very good. 
I did watch that some time ago as an in between filler, but don’t remember the good bits.
I’ve just realised why I watch Netflix: They work with independent film makers in dozens of countries, giving us something the US can’t. OK, the originals are not in English but they are multinational with a version in all the main languages.
I’ve just finish No One Saw Us Leave … a fine example of this.
Nor me but the dragon lady was a very personable star. I was surprised how tiny she is.
We, Daughter & I, are watching Stranger Things. Re watched original series, all of it. Seen new series once, now watching again before next & last episodes. You do need to watch it twice for it to make sense.
i watched part of the first series but it didn’t grab me.

I liked the strong 60s vibes, the cars mainly. I thought the storyline was one for the girls.
I’d say, if it didn’t grab you, move on.
Hmmm perhaps I enjoy stuff made in foreign countries. It’s from a book written by a woman, a Mexican. The story starts in Mexico, takes us to France, Italy, South Africa, Israel … but there is little going on!

Daughter & I just watched this film on Netflix. We both enjoyed it. Didn’t see the twist either. Good film & I have since GOT liked Emilia Clarke

After GOT I imagined her as a tall woman but turns out she is four foot nothing. (charming but)

She doesn’t look that short. 
No she is probably 155/7cm or something like that, I exaggerate slightly but she is surprisingly short compared to the impression of her character in GOT.
