I am enjoying The Beast in Me so far and surprisingly Special Ops Lioness
Was very disturbed to see that Parenthood is disappearing in early December. I have been watching one or two episodes a week so am only up to series 2, it is a quiet, gentle series but very entertaining with good characters, I doubt I will see it all before is vanishes.
I have to clean up my “Continue Watching” list as there are a couple of series that I have abandoned which still leer at me.
Can’t wait for another series of Riot Women and The Diplomat but I think Professor T has run its course, the last series was very disappointing.
We have all six seasons of Parenthood available on Netflix, I’ve seen them all, definitely on my “favourites list”. I started watching The Diplomat but then left it as I was getting bored.
There are some nasty violent scenes, bad sex, incest, which is all a bit unfortunate. We’ve decided to drop it halfway through the first series. Has anyone else tried it? Is S2 and/or S3 less, erm, dark.
Just watched the latest Bridget Jones film - Mad about the boy. I loved it just like I loved the previous three films which I’ve seen twice.
These are definitely on my “favourites” list.
Allso very nostalgic for me, the Hampstead setting, not far from where I used to live and a pub in that area, where we used to go sometimes,the Spaniards Inn.
I enjoyed the film but didn’t like the “boy” because of the character the same actor plays in the White Lotus season 2. I probably would have enjoyed it more had I not seen that first.
Agree Hampstead is very lovely. The Holly Bush or the Flask are also nice pubs.
