What's on Netflix

Hi Tiffany; I am watching it, I have watched (Chapter 1, 2, 3, 4) and yesterday I watched (Chapter 5). I will be watching (Chapter 6 & 7) either today or tomorrow; then of course waiting for (Chapter 8) next week.

Angelina Joley as Maria Callas … Really enjoyed it.

Much talked about new Netflix Movie, Train Dreams. It was OK.

I am getting toward the end of an excellent series “Run Away” another adaptation of a Harlan Coben novel.

It’s really good

I have started the first episode of “Brockmire” which looked promising but I am not a fan of sports and US sports are incomprehensible which is probably why no one else plays them. I am hoping the sport doesn’t get in the way.

I hope it’s available there, and I hope you enjoy.

Not seen it yet, will look out for it. Cheers.

I started watching Runaway yesterday, it’s good, I’ll continue watching it. Big difference to my usual type of series, on the lighter side, like “Younger” which I recently started watching too.

It is another British adaptation of his novels, they do them very well.

I am really enjoying “Sneaky Pete”.

The story is really unlikely but the series is really well done, it is great fun.

Despite the trailer it is on Netflix

Started His & Hers it doesn’t seem too bad actually, it is only a limited series.

Have abandoned the last series of Brockmire. I enjoyed it up until then but it started to change to very silliness. That seems to happen with US series they just don’t know when to stop.

BTW the ending to His & Hers is an astonishing surprise. Well, I thought it was anyway.

I’m halfway through watching, but also watched the film about the army dog called Max which was quite good, but as with all dog movies a tearjerker at times.

Bridgerton, binge watched the 4 episodes of the new series, they’ve split it. Part two end of this month.

Yep, I am watching Bridgerton too, it is a bit obvious but OK.

I recently watched Alex Honnold climbing the Taipei 101 skycraper. Wow, wow, wow!!! I’m glad I didn’t see it live, it would have been too nerve-wrecking ! :open_mouth: :face_with_peeking_eye:

We are watching a rather silly soapy story that goes on forever about doctors and nurses, and the clever doctor is autistic.

I’m posting this because I saw a comment on social media to say that netflix has pulled this show - it doesn’t seem possible to watch the original seasons on BBC iplayer either - it just says a new season is coming in Spring 2026. There was a bit of a conspiracy theory post about why this is the case. Something in the trailer says “you’re watching them but who is watching you” or words to that effect.

Quite extraordinary to be unable to stream a series that was available not long ago. Can anyone in other countries see this? Has anyone previously watched it? I wouldn’t be so interested if it were not for the fact that it seems I am being blocked from seeing it because I am in the UK!

Apparently the story is based on deepfake evidence changing the course of a conviction.
