Well, it was another riveting day down south!
Steam cleaned both my bathrooms and did a load of laundry. Then made beef stroganoff for a late lunch and washed it down with a glass of wine.
Itās a Bank Holiday here tomorrow so whoopee!
Another day. We let the dogs out Then I went back home with Max. In the mean time my dear wife and the two ladies at the end of the street had a good old chin wag. One of the ladies made some excellent strawberriesā¦ Then we went to Morrisons for some provisions - dishwasher was the main objective but of course a few other things surreptitiously sneaked their way into the trolley.
Then home for lunch. Then off again with my dog for a longer walk. It is up past two schools and up the Roman Rig Itās good for us because there are no cars so the dog doesnāt the lead and can wander around a bit.
Dishwasher salt I meant!

Cooked traditional roast beef with all the trimmings.
Made four cards using the beautiful set of dies that arrived yesterday. Photos later.
Well, I didnāt repair the puncture in my bikeās tyre. Itās been so long since I last had a puncture, the tube of patch cement had dried up and I donāt have any spare. Iāll just have to see if they have any on the market tomorrow when we go into town to pick up my meds.
Today was a busy day - or at least for an old fogey like me. We had a longer walk this morning. We need to cross a main road so we have to keep Ozzie on his lead until he is near his home territory.
Then we re-potted a few plants including our half barrel bamboo tree and moved the strawberry plants. Just to be clear about this my dear wife decides on the plants - Iām just labourerā¦
Then another stroll with a different route. Met a few dogs - and their owners. It is really a lovely neighborhood. We got lucky.
Then home and I mowed the lawn. Thatās my day.

Bit of this. Bit of that. Unpacked from last week. Emptied a few pots of dead plants. Washed hairā¦
Another lazy day, back to work tomorrow so thought Iād rest.
Went to Dads then watched John Wayne Gacey tapes on Netflix, wow that man was a monster, he killed 20 odd young boys and men and buried loads in his cellar. He was so arrogant too. Those poor families of those boys
Now Iām about to do my card and gift orders I have had come in.

Visited dotty old aunt, made coffee, watered the garden, saw some Islamic people standing around (Ramadan or something), watched mafia drama on Netflix, planted tomato plants given by a neighbour, had rabbit stew yummy and some wine.
And I loved every minute of itā¦
Car boot sale this morning. Cooked lunch. Lazed about all afternoon which was lovely. Watched TV from about 6pm catching up with stuff I had recorded.
You will turn into the āBlack Jarā watching all that gruesome stuff Lion Queenā¦
I did much the same as caricature and Minx, with some snooker added for excitementā¦
Managed to cook some fish, chips and beans for dinner laterā¦
