Got my meds from the pharmacy but couldn’t find a puncture repair kit for sale anywhere in town.
Spent two hours waiting for some one to answer from Bransons holiday company again, go on web site, click to download vouchers, says available from April 24 th, nope , so had to speak to some one, no live chat on the web. Like I said before unlimited minutes on the mobile good job too.
I had a text to go and collect, might just struggle out in a moment.
Been work, been to town for some bits for dad, been to dad’s, had a smoothie, been out walking Loki for an hour in the woods and started raining just as we got back home .
Now I’m about to clean the bathroom after which I’ll shut myself aways in my paradise…my craft room
Productive day I’d say
Been in to town to the market - bought some broccoli, went to the fishmonger - bought salmon and samphire, went to the cheesemonger - bought some special reserve gruyere. Came home - had a cup of tea - made a quiche!
Up to the playground for the dogs today. Just for a bit of variety. Then we had a landscape gardener to look look some work we plan to when we remove old decking at the end of the garden. Then a long walk with Maximillian Thunderbolt.
Bought this cone swag from my Littlewoods catalogue it was reduced from £49.99 to £39.99 and I had a 20% discount code as well.they still had Christmas decorations to sell so i thought why not. It’s 1.8 mtrs long and I’m going to put it on the window sill at the right time of course. Also I can pay weekly installments but i get a monthly statement.
Was invited for a lovely Eid lunch. It was fun.
A day in Scarborough to book a hotel for about a dozen guests for our 50th wedding anniversary in October.
Robert and Mrs Fox in 1972…
Congratulations! What an accomplishment!
Thanks Minx…It’s not until October and we’ve had our up’s and down’s, but still rubbing along together nicely…
Where is the samphire from? The samphire season doesn’t start until June. It’s far too early in my humble opinion. I was brought up picking, cooking and eating samphire since I was a toddler.
Cleansheeted bed. Washed and hung out 2 lines of washing. Quick trip to Tesco. Actually did some housework this afternoon …… Apart from the kitchen surfaces and toilets I don’t worry too much these days. I have to be in the mood.
Drove home from New Hampshire today after a three day vacation at a gorgeous bed and breakfast! I had never stayed in one before, and wanted to try it out before Christmas in Vermont this year…maybe, if Covid stays away.
It was 250 miles, took me 4 1/2 hours, but it’s the first long trip I’ve made in 3 years! I brought along a gal friend who loves Vermont and the General Country Stores. Good company for both of us.
Mowed all the grass inside and outside my block, ran the mower out of fuel then cleaned it with my high pressure washer. I live in the hope that this will be the last time I will need the damn thing until spring. Alas this is rarely the case but I try…
It is in the garden at the moment drying in the sun as I intend to repaint the inside to try to stop it rusting . This always happens - it is never the motor that make me buy a new one but the body rusting out. Never had that problem with the old aluminium bodies.
Same here Briggs and Stratton engine goes on for ever with care.
Staggered out of bed - fed cats - made a pot of tea - sat and wondered why I had that third ‘Grouse’ with my friends last night - flolloped on the sofa - went back to sleep!
I think Nemo is typing this for me!
Usual Wednesday shop at M&S but no stop off at Costa for coffee because it was raining.
Cur the grass, sharpened the mower blades introduced myself to a new cat visitor and showed it where the free catnip is.
