Went to a car boot sale.
Sat in summerhouse reading.
Put soda crystals down sinks and then flushed with boiling water. Then I decided to put some down the outside drain under the kitchen and bathroom sinks. Took the little drain covers off and discovered a fairly large toad In one and a bright yellow frog in the other!! Had to get son to rescue them and we put them in neighbour’s pond. We hosed them down in case any boiling water got on them. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Just editing to add
I just googled yellow frogs and they are the most poisonous in the world! Mine is not one of these and I think the yellow might be from the toiletries going on him down the bathroom sink!

My son dragged me out the house to watch a movie Morbius. It was a welcome distraction from life.

We should organise an OFF annual walk where we can meet each other and walk in a different location each year.

Nothing much happens at Foxy’s place on a Sunday. I peruse the forum for an interesting topic and to catch up while eating my breakfast, and then go for a five mile walk while Mrs Fox prepares Sunday lunch. A couple of glasses of red wine with dinner renders me inactive, so catching up with some recorded stuff on telly is about all I can manage.
Daughter arrives with hubby for tea, and after a brief welcome they settle in with their phones on twitter and football with an occasional “Have you seen this Dad?”
My builder rang yesterday with the quote for a new garden wall with fancy gateposts…After being helped to a chair, I wiped the tears away from my eyes and text him back to tell him the quote sounded reasonable and to start work when he can. After three years of waiting, and six builders who failed to return calls, I grabbed the opportunity to have my gates put back where they belong.

That’ll be an interesting meal, a rabbit slow cooked in 24 bottles of wine?

The public footpath is ancient, it needs to be walked after a dry spell like we’ve just had, twas a bit steep to walk out of, good old devon rolling hills, nigh on knackered me.

Nothing much in the garden it’s raining but it needs it.
Sundays not a lot just walk the boys, make the dinner for about 3pm, phone son up and chat with him for a hour. He’s going to Idaho on Friday for a week so that will be good for him.
Watch gardeners world if hubby can stay awake.
