What have you done today?

This afternoon, my partner’s sis arrived with a few old laptops which need ? who knows what … this was ok.

Somehow, a loud and prolonged interaction ensued … politics, Russia, religion, monarchy …

I was stuck, on the sofa, in the middle of this.
Left wing sis, retired teacher (ill-informed, unable to think for herself but adamant that she’s correct) on a chair one side and ‘himself’, who has VPN on his computer and is therefore able to look at news we in the UK are barred from.

It was HORRID and went on for almost an hour and there was no way to stop them.
Exhausting.

Hi

I am glad you have a partner you can accept and not feel bullied by.

Never forget, you are a fantastic person and deserve the best.

Nightshade in their tea?

Nah
She’s a nice person, albeit boring and unreceptive.

It seriously worries me that people like this are allowed to teach children and young adults.

Went to the cricket…as I am today(tomorrow!).

The men were playing cricket. The ball went up a trousers leg and hit the middle wicket

Having just finished our cruise and wandering around parts of Norway in the cold pouring rain, it seems me and “Mrs Graham” caught some nasty bug and have been sat around the house sneezing and generally feeling unwell, although we have tested as Covid negative.

Last night saw ELO Again in my local theatre

Photo taken by the band.

So far only had an hours walk along the beach with the dog. Got to empty all the tubs today and gut the greenhouse.

Two mile jog/walk…A bit slow this morning I wasn’t feeling the love…
:slightly_frowning_face:
Did an early morning shop at Tesco…Hardly anybody there except bloody trolleys everywhere with staff filling the shelves…
Saw and old runner friend and had a nag…Mrs Fox wasn’t happy…

Perused the forum over breakfast…
Going for a late shower now because I smell…

Sorry to hear that, Swimmy! I hope you get over it soon :hugs:

I have sparkled and hoovered my house, and found 3 spiders (which were promptly dispatched). Sprayed everything liberally with lemon water (which clearly isn’t working), and now I’m going to make some dinner.

We had a long walk round the schools. On the way home my wife had a good long chat with our lovely neighbour - a lively 83-year old. Then we had the green van man with deliveries. He teases Max chasing his van. Next was the Asda with the usual groceries. Then we some tine in the garden moving some plants into permanent locations. After that we had a nice rest with a wine in the garden.

went a short 2 field walk , then made a dash back to car before getting rained on ,

cleared the dog sick up in the car .

found a 3 million£ property which had a fasinating history .

repaired a kitchen chair as a leg was loose. Made up a couple of metal brackets should hold for a while. Sue slide onto the seat i which caused the leg needing repair

Beware the fourth spider :spider:

They don’t look particularly amorous, rudely interrupted perhaps?
I don’t like house spiders, to be candid they give me the creeps.
