What have you done today?

Flowerpower, I do hope your poorly horse gets better.
I do understand the worry attached to the animals we love.

Took the car in for a recall, the audible warning for passengers seat belt could fail, (software upgrade) had brunch in Tescos back home and stated dismantling wardrobes to paint the front bedroom.

Thanks Mups. It seems to be a miracle! Hubby says she is walking down the field, eating and drinking OK. Honestly if you had seen her last night she was cold, laying down, wouldn’t eat and hardly drunk anything. She is nearly 30. The farrier was due this morning but hubby text him last night and said not to come as she wouldn’t even stand up.

Took the pup for a haircut

How strange. could she have eaten something someone had tossed in her field, or is this not possible? Or might it have been a touch of colic?
That’s a good age, so she has done so well all these years. Hope she continues to improve.

And a nice smart boy he looks, too, Jaded.
You say ‘pup’, how old is he?

Not a lot
twirly yet. Walked my hounds while trying to avoid the horse poo on the common.

Waited in this arvo for the plumber to check my 250L hot water heater. It is leaking from the anode at the top but it is only a couple of years old. The plumber took one look and told me it would replaced under warranty.

It is down the side of the house where I rarely go in winter so it could have been leaking for months, probably wasted a lot of electricity :frowning:

He’s 10 months old now @Mups

Hi

Been out for a coffee by the weir, a short walk, two charity shops hunting for indoor plant pots, them B&M where a spent a load on such things and large outdoor tubs.

Missed my prescription delivery

I wish I’d bought that one instead of the 1810. I really miss not being able to scan documents - I have to photograph them instead - and all because I didn’t have enough pennies in my piggy bank.

Went to scrap yard with hubby and dumped old cooker and washing machine. Absolutely boiling hot. He got changed into clean clothes in back of van.

Went for nice walk down the town and along the seafront. Had fish and chips sitting on seawall and they were delicious.

Home now with cold fan on. :+1:

Spent far too much time brooding over which cycle lights to go for on Amazon.
I’ve ordered a wirelessly operated unit for the rear that incorporates flashing indicators, that’s a bit nifty

Had a heated ( well isn’t everything heated at the moment?) online discussion with my bank.

Did the mans shed this morning ,then went to Homebase for paint to do the bedroom, 33% off their own brand.

Made another top for my granddaughter - the third one this week, same pattern different fabrics.

Nothing - and that is how it is going to stay! :smiley_cat: :smiley_cat:

Done nothing but sort problems out!
One thing after another today. I do wish I could mend things myself, instead of trying to get unreliable gits to do their job. :rage:

Had a stroll down to the pillar box. It’s a different route so Max was in his element sniffing different things. Then we went up The Roman Rig. Then we went home for lunch. Leftover gammon and very nice it was too.

Painting a bedroom.
