I was trying for a shot with cobwebs on the handlebar of an abandoned bicycle. But the light was all wrong. Iām getting desperate because thereās just a few days left to come up with the winning shot in a competition with big prize money. Wooo

Ta muchly. I had a phone call from the hospital this morning to say I shouldnāt take the aspirin after all. I wish theyād get their facts straight. I asked about the photos of the lateral flow test strips and were they necessary as I had an email confirmation and a text message from the NHS yesterday and, presumably, Iāll get the same tomorrow morning after Iāve reported tomorrowās test. She said that would be fine no need for photos just bring the mobile and emails with me. Iāll take the SD card with me as well (nothing like belt and braces!)

Hardly anything I intended to do. It has been far too burning hot outside for me, so I nipped up the Co-op and came straight back home again. They had sold out of Salads, and fruit, and hadnāt much milk either.
Just tried to make a couple of important phone calls, but my phone keeps cutting out (landline). Can that be anything to do with the heat do you think? Seems strange.

The heat was not good, I used to be able to cope with it and still be active, but no longer.
It doesnāt help when you are on a fluid restriction either.
Wendy was here, to hot for her in the garden, so let her loose on sorting out the shed.
She is far more ruthless and much quicker than me, so a lot of things have gone.
It does look a lot better though, a couple more days and she will have finished it and can start on the next shed.

She is not very woke, she is an anti trans activist, but not nasty about it, just believes that men with all their bits should not be allowed into female only wards and changing rooms.

Spent several hours on the beach. it was lovely and just a tad cooler than where we live which is a few miles inland. There was a pleasant warm breeze too.
Not too busy and the only kids about were pre schoolers as most schools have not finished yet.

I assembled a bookcase until things started getting too hot, so have spent the day walking round the house baht clouts before getting a nice cool shower. Looks like weāre in for another hot spell tomorrow and Wednesday, but cooling down for the rest of the week.
