What have you done today?

Took a mouse (that we’d caught in a humane trap) up to a nearby wooded area and set it free. The area is not so nearby that it’s likely to find it’s way back to us! Cleaned out trap and reset it as well as a second one in a different location. Hope this isn’t going to be a daily chore…

We never had any rodent visitors when we used to have dogs. Now, unfortunately, we only have our daughter’s or son’s dog for a few hours at a time, and rarely overnight, so the mice know they’re safe to creep in once darkness falls

Another Monday, The dogs of course. We had a bit of a fright when Ozzie was going back home but a neighbour saw him. Then a later Max stroll. He politely asked for a different route - you wouldn’t want to take the same boring old every time.

Then we met my sister. She she lives in London and she will be here for a few days. We had a really nice lunch mainly for the conversation. The food was fine too but not spectacular. .

Lost the dog found the dog lost the dog found the dog.Phew!Made a cup of tea,

Hi

Been out, Wendy came in her own Car, delivered the cut up Sofa to recycling, stopped at Lidle for shopping, then rested and in the Garden 3 times where Wendy was working.

Then Morrisons for the Cashpoint and some shopping, including the Garden Centre and then home.

The most I have done for ages.

Paula is coming tomorrow to do more in the Garden.

It’s all go today, barely 9am and I have already emptied the mouse trap (humane instant death - second little bastard in the last 10 days) been to the chemist with my prescription and booked a flu jab for 2pm.

Does life get any more thrilling than this?

You’ve been jabbed, you’ll be fine. Rest up.

Sorry to hear that Minx, it might explain why you have been feeling tired and lethargic just lately. It makes you wonder if we carry covid around longer than we think. I felt wasted for quite a few weeks before I tested positive for covid last year.
Hope you start feeling better soon…
:hugs:
Spent the day making tea for the builders and a Jason Statham lookalike came to take the skip away at teatime.

Been out with a friend - cinema, lunch, shopping, coffee and home again!

Went out on my bike for an hour, and became aware of the beginnings of a boil starting to form exactly where a cyclist least wants one. It’s in exactly the same place as I had one last year, which kept me off the saddle for a fortnight. As a TL0, I am not able to post photos, but that’s not the main reason I’m not going to. :slightly_smiling_face:

That will be painful , Did you know Cyclist use Vasline to ease friction .

Now you know why they called him ‘Lance’ Armstrong Harbal…

Friction isn’t the problem, it’s the pressure. I don’t know if cycling has caused the boil, I never got one there before I had the bike.

I knew someone that had one , and the nurse said it was a in growing hair causing it ., so you may be prone to them
