What have you done in the garden today?

Hi

Absolutely nothing.

I have a visit from my PTSD Group and a 2 hour online course.

My helper, Wendy, has however been amazing.

She has sorted the heavily damaged Polytunnel, which I had written off, and started putting the frame up for the replacement I had got.

I will now have 2, which will be great.

Weeded the gravel area at the front of the house. Tidied up some of the pots that have violas in them.
We’ve had four seasons worth of weather today. Sun, rain and a snow shower this afternoon. In addition we had a fox in the back garden sunning and scratching himself :slightly_smiling_face:

this morning filled in a gap appearing under the fence with a flat spiked metal sheet ideal for the job

Think any rain washes some earth next door. found two “iron” bricks (as in that path edging) buried that had to come out

Have fixed my fence at the bottom of the garden. Wasn’t as bad as I thought. Was a piece of cake with my cordless drill/screwdriver. Don’t know why I’ve waited so long to buy one. :grinning:

I’ve taken a lot of trailing clematis off of my beautiful Acia tree also the evergreen ivy, the stuff was strangling both, if I don’t do it now, before it starts growing, it will take over, I also have two small ponds for wildlife, may give them a clean out today…my garden is specifically for wildlife, so I’ve let it grow wild in a few places…I have no end of birds visit my garden and ponds, I also bought a new nesting box yesterday for the blue tits.
