Usual routine… Garden centre…2 lattes (that’s one each) Then looking around for another Hosta and decided on the Blue Angel. It’s now in a large terracotta pot away from any risk of slug/snail attack.
Planted the rest of the pot marigolds around the path in the front garden, got some left.
Giant Sunflowers now out of their pots and in the garden. Constant drizzling rain is ideal for planting out. Just have to stake them now.
Nothing today it’s raining so going to wash my hair.

Same here, its been cool and cloudy with rain arriving about 3ish, heavy at times.
Watched the rose petals being systematically washed away.
We had some bricks in our back garden when we move here three years ago… We got some for our new garden path but is was still much more than we needed. My dear wife offered them on a website for free today. They were snapped up within hours!

Ditto. It’s so wet everywhere and the forecast is not too good for week ahead either. Oh well this is the UK, why expect a prolonged summer.
Whilst on Holiday in Florida I read that do to the La nina or something like that, an unsettled summers is to be expected in Northern Europe, plus the Atlantic hurricane season is expected to be a busy one , this too has impacts .
