Hi
Loaded up the car ready for the next trip to recycling.
When this lot is gone, I need the locals to load it up a few more times for the heavy stuff and that will be that.

@summer ive just used a site that identyfies and this is what it comes up with your photo and this is the site i used
https://identify.plantnet.org/
I did it a big favour ā¦ stayed indoors!
Found a picture of that Arum, Eliza, but I canāt see the white stem and leaf markings like Summerās. What do you think? I suppose it could be not mature yet maybe?
Interesting though . .
If it is that though, Summer be careful touching it.
See here:
Is Dragon Lily Toxic?
The dragon lily can cause skin irritation when touched, so be sure to wear gloves when handling it. It is also toxic to animals if ingested. However, animals do not typically approach this plant due to its noxious smell.
I can see the white fleck on your photo Mups same as Summers . I think the flower when it comes out will be the deciding point ,
Not what i would want in my garden , ive seen simalar in woodland . With the yellow flower ,
Well done you two!.. I went to a plant identifier site and it came up with nothing so Im impressed you found itā¦yes I will leave it this year and see if it flowers and if its smellyā¦ off it goes. Have to admit Ive never seen one before so Iām intrigued. Thankyou so much for finding it and the info
Pulled up all of the wallflowers now that theyāve finished flowering, put a lot in the compost bins but got too much, so put the rest in plastic bags to put in the rubbish collection bin.
Yes, I agree, Eliza.
Well done in advance.
Fed, watered, and weeded all my roses, then mixed up some liquid seaweed for the ericaceous shrubs.
Ive got loads of repotting to do. I need to repot 11 Carnivorous plants, 4 Orchids, 5 Succulents, 10 African Violets, 9 Pelargoniums, and 2 more which Iāve forgotten the name of!
They are have different types of compost and bark chips, so its quite time consuming - plus ive got to be in the right frame of mind.
My garden is desperate for colourā¦its just green right now. I think it was raided of plants when it was left empty for so long before we bought it.
This is the side gardenā¦it used to have a hedge across the middle and there was a massive lean to greenhouse against the barn at the end you can seeā¦the greenhouse was rotten so it had to go. Iāve laid some new lawn where the hedge was and extended the side hedge you can seeā¦its a mammoth task because the main garden is much larger than thisā¦I might be fighting a losing battle with the lawnā¦im trying thoughā¦weed and feed
My BH is going take all the plants in our garden if we leave.
House and garden? You canāt have any spare time at all.
Summer quite some task you have, its looking elegant though
Started to do some weeding where the wallflowers have been, the ground is very dry still.
Yes, itās the same here Logan. As soon as I water, the ground soaks it up and it looks bone dry again. I darenāt plant out my young seedlings just yet. Itās a darn sight easier to water them in the seedtrays, till they get too big and have to be planted out, of course.
Are you on metered water? I am.
Iām on metered water tooā¦dare not look at the bill when it arrives because we have had the sprinkler on the new lawn every day.
I bought lavender for a lavender hedge along the front of the barn ā¦I will hopefully plant that today before my 9 year old grandson comes to stay over also bought a selection of hostas for a shady area ā¦planted a wisteria and two clematis earlier in the week.
its open garden day in our village, and we are one of seven to show what weāve got, have to say we are looking good after days of getting things right
Good luck Macy I hope the day stays fine for youā¦enjoy x
what a day yesterday, the sun came out, think we had over a hundred visitors, will try and put some piccies up when i can
Yes weāre on metered water but it doesnāt matter if Iāve got to water the plants, thereās only the 2 of us and the 2 boys, use a bit for them with the washing of towels and settee covers. But we still save money by being on a meter. Itās best to leave your seedlings until theyāre big enough if you can.
Iām going to have to move them on soon, and the Runner Beans want planting out too, but itās so dry.
Rain forecast here for tomorrow and Tuesday I believe. Weāll just have to wait and see if its a good downpour or just a splash.
A neigbour is coming round tomorrow to fit a new water butt for me. Iāve only ever had one and itās never enough, so this second one will be very handy.
Trouble I find with my water butt is it is usually over flowing in winter when I donāt need the water, but little in them in the summer when you do!
