yesterday, watched the rain fall, great
Some men folks pee in the garden, to keep the foxes away apparently, I donât, I welcome Foxes!
I do that tooâŠto save on the water rates.
A lot easier for men to pee outside than for us ladies though.
Yes of course but the ladies can use a container to catch it in.
I think this is part 2 or the other way around.
Mowed the meadow, (I hesitantly call it a lawn more like grass) I fed the grass before going away, mistake, it was a good 9 inches tall in places .Good job Iâve a petrol mower.
Got soaked!
Me too!
We planted some Dahlias rescued from a diy shed going for pennies before we went away, gave them an overnight soak planted them, and now they are away.
I did intend sorting out the lavender planters this morning but the rain got in the way.
some strimming around shrubs and trees
Done nothing today, but I did order a new rose.
I had this one years ago, and it was very pretty, with lots of blooms, so I have ordered a new one.
Itâs only diddy, not much more than a foot high, just right for a patio pot.

Thatâs a lovely rose Mups
Started planting up a border with lilies, cosmos and tomorrow plant the Snapdragons.
Thanks Logan.
Itâs is a pretty little rose, and keeps reblooming for ages.
Yes, Iâve got a load of Cosmos to plant out too, but its just finding the time isnât it.
Iâve grown the âDwarfâ ones in just two colours - deep red, and creamy white. They are called âRubies in Sunshine.â
Hi
Not the best of days for me health wise.
Went out with Paula, loads of stuff to the tip, she is very strong and organised.
More compost and pots on the way home and then she filled up my car for the tip tomorrow.
Not long to go now before the entire thing is organised.
Time to take a break now, stand back and just enjoy it growing.
Thanks Logan.

Yes I have to spread the planting over a few weeks because of time and my back.
Yeah, I know the feeling of a bad back.
I wonder does anyone know what plant this isâŠI found it when I cleared a corner of my gardenâŠit looks orientalâŠgreen leaves with white flecks and the stem is multi colouredâŠvery unusual
Hmm Really not sure about that plant, Summer.
The only slight possibility is it could be what they call Zingiber Zerumbet - also known as Bitter Ginger.
If so, it will develope red cone shaped flowers later in the summer.
It doesnât seem to be poisonous.
Perhaps someone else can help you identify it better.
