Watered all of the seedlings and noticed that they are getting aphids and I sprayed them with a weak solution of washing up liquid and water, seems to be doing the trick. I think that they came off 3 old chilli plants that i have in the conservatory so chucked them out.

mowed all the lawns, edged the lawns, moved a few planters around, planted a few things

Last nightâs very sharp frost has put paid to our magnolia blossom. The tree looks very sad now covered in brown flowers rather than beautiful white/pink blooms. I suppose over the next few days I shall be raking them up as they fall off.

ive mowed a lawn for someone , plus help plant a tub of sweetpeas i gave them .

Sprayed the seedlings and a bit of watering.
Positioned 4 grow bags, in the Greenhouse.
Lopped the branches of several trees which shade the Greenhouse.
Tomato plants still in pots pending the growbags settling down.

had our U3A garden group round for a get together and a wander, tea, coffee and cake on the lawn, nice to get the programme started for the year

I have done nothing.
Paula is here and is spraying the fences with her electric sprayer.
An amazing bit of kit, she has already done the front garden and is halfway round the back garden fences which are 2m high.
How does she manage with all your razor wire when spraying?
Nothing - went shopping.
Had to buy new plants as 7 of the ones I potted up have been seen off by the frost!
The new ones will stay on my draining board until all frost is lost!

Pricked out 30 tomato seedlings and potted on 6 small chilli plants and sowed some California poppy seeds.
i potted on Nigella seedlings,I dont think i need to pot any more seedlings on , got enough now.
The Putunias might need to be potted on again before planting out.
Counting down the weeks now , 7 weeks

Weâre not done with the cold nights yet either, its forecast frosty on Thursday/Friday nights again too. 
There have been heavy showers and wind , but I planted the 2 plants that have arrived today âŠ
Im awaiting 2 more which will probably be next week .
My Perenial bed is almost finished , Im thinking of getting some Penistons with the Vouchers my daughter gave me for Mothers Day âŠ
