There’s a ‘Summary’ to be found if you click on your avatar and then the person’’ icon, perhaps that feature to hide text is so that a post doesn’t feature in the statistics of that ‘Summary’?
That’s all I can think of anyway, no doubt we will find out in due course!

Something like when driving and seeing a speed camera – you don’t know that it’s working or not but guaranteed most drivers will ensure the correct speed is being driven at. Average speed cameras used now, ensure that drivers do not just increase their speed as soon as they have passed the camera.
Yes, possibly but then any ‘clever thinker’ or ‘inventor’ can come up with such an idea. Using the software they can then make it do whatever is required, for whatever reason. Perhaps unnecessary right now, but who knows what is in the future? Until then that will just sit there unused until required?

When you try moving the screen (on your phone??) a small slider appears on the right. Well, it does on my android phone.
