What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 2)

@susiejaeger - thanks, Susie. :smiley_cat:

@Octogen - sounds good!

Had a cheese hotpot, sauerkraut, and home made coleslaw.

Sounds intriguing - any chance of the recipe?

I will ask my dear wife. Iā€™m just the consumerā€¦

Saturday? Then itā€™s Fillet Steak with Chips, Button Mushrooms, Peas, Sweetcorn and two or three slices of French Stick. Oh and not forgetting a couple of glasses of a rather nice Shiraz. After that? Maybe fall asleep in front of whatever shite is on the telly.

Missed luncheon.

Dinner was homemade fish pie - salmon, haddock, prawns, and peas topped with cheesey mash. Made it yesterday -so just to heat through today.

Just a sandwich for lunch today but itā€™s Wednesday so itā€™s the midweek roast chicken etc for dinner.

Luncheon = a bowl of homemade carrot and orange soup with crusty bread.

Dinner = Salmon fillet poached in lemon juice and white wine, Jersey Royal potatoes, steamed radishes, brocolli, cauliflower, and glazed carrots
Sounds a lot - but they are only small portions)

Pudding = banana fritters and ice cream.
