What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Iffit pud

Had to visit the ‘vampire clinic’ yesterday morning. When I came out, crossed the road and went into Iceland stores to purchase some more frozen vegetables. Discovered that they have once again started to sell Steak and Kidney Puddings!!! Came home and cooked one - it was delicious!!!

Well i don’t know what we are having yet until i get to the shops, but its likely to be cold meats and a selection of naughty cream cakes, as OH half has just returned from the local bakery with two boxes of cakes.

Home made lasagne, with stir fry veg. Had a bogof on stir fries at the supermarket yesterday…so got one for tomorrow too

Kitty darlin’ - what’s the address??? - I’m on my way!!!;-);-)

tonight its home made lasagne with baked potato, pitta bread for the kids.

chocolate fudge cake for pudding with cream or ice cream.

Never mind the lasagne Kitty darlin’ - but I’m on my way to you for the fudge cake.:lol::lol:

:lol: Uncle Joe, i will make sure i save you a slice

‘Make do’ meal of Cornish Pastie, veg and mash yesterday. Will be doing a chicken stir fry later today with onion, garlic, and chestnut mushrooms and some of the ‘oriental veg’ from Iceland.

Roast chicken dinner for us but no sweet.

‘Bangers’, Champ, peas and gravy.

My OH got himself some big mushrooms on the market this morning so I made him garlic mushroom, stuffed them with lots of chopped garlic, chopped chives, breadcrumbs, butter and lemon juice, some fresh baked french bread and he said they were delicious. I made do with a microwave tagliatelli, I don’t like mushrooms and it’s much too hot to stand around cooking.

Those mushrooms sound lovely.

We have been out for most of the day so I couldn’t be bothered to cook. We just had a sandwich but we had some English strawberries and ice cream for dessert, they were lovely.

Only soft food for me. I ate the inside of a baked potato, then I had a kipper in tomato sauce, then a buttered crumpet.

Tomorrow will be a piece of smoked haddock, mash and I’ll make some Hollandaise sauce to go with it.

Wish I could have a good gnaw again!

Don’t think I’ll be stopping for Lunch the Day, once I get the Cleaning Bug I carry on till it’s all done. May just phone out for my Favourite Fried Beef and Onions with Boiled Rice tonight if I’m too tired to Cook.

Give it time Mollie darlin ’ this time next year and you’ll be able to chomp down on apples without even thinking about it.

Dinner with a dear friend today. We enjoyed a dish we only refer to as Pat’s salad. It consists of tomato, cucumber, avocado & red lentils or chickpeas.
Today we had Feta cheese & garlic bread, but fried halloumi cheese also tastes lovely with this dish. Oliv oil, vinegar & spices is a must to follow this dish.

Sounds lovely Anna and healthy too

having lunch round older daughters today so have no idea until i get there…its always really nice though…they always eat their dinner around 7pm and thats too late for me to eat a heavy meal…

Sunday once again - so normal Sunday Roast again - chicken, with roast potatoes, onion and Parsnips and steamed Leek and steamed mixed veg, with Bisto and Oxo gravy. Still have some bread pudding left, so put some in a bowl and pour warm custard over it - Voila!!! 'afters.
