Sorry Hazel it was all eaten, only a little pie crust left over and the birds had that.
I bake quite often and sometimes make my own bread. I enjoy doing it.

Shame you live too far away Mall darlin’ otherwise you’d be having a visitor next time you did the baking.
I used to but don’t bother anymore will have to pull my sox up, I know son & grandkids would love it (DIL sneaks it when no ones looking)
If I could e-mail you some I would:lol:
seafood pizza and cheesy chips
Had fish 'n chips out with my Sister and Brother-in-law yesterday, so will do a ‘mixed grill’ for lunch later this morning - 1/4 pounder, sausages, mushrooms, eggs, bacon, baked beans and chips.
I’ve just had grilled bacon (smoked) sausages (lincoln) egg, mushrooms and toms, with toast. I’m having fish, chips and mushy peas for tea.
Ohhhh Joe…how can you eat all that at Lunch Time? I can only manage a Sandwich then. My Main Meals at Night, followed by my dangerous time when I’ll nibble away at biscuits and a Sweetie if I can get my Paws on them lol.
Uncle Joe. Knowing how you like Safari Meat have you tried Camel? I went to a local Farmers Market today & they were selling Camel steaks 2 small ones for £9.50 - never seen them before. They had all the other types of Safari meats as well
Yes darlin’ - I have eaten Camel steaks previously, but they are somewhat ‘sloppy’ in texture, and although quite tasty, wasn’t all that keen on them to be honest. However, since, as you have seen, there are other ‘safari meats’ on sale, - why not try some as a change to the traditional Beef, Pork or Lamb. I’m sure, if you cook them slowly you will find them a healthy, nourishing and tasty alternative.
Ahhhh but Roxy darlin’ I’m a firm believer that one should never put off till tomorrow what you can do today, because if you like it today, you can do it again tomorrow. To that end, having had a large fry up lunch, and then sarnies for ‘tea’, like you I too like to nibble on (choccy) biscuits or sweeties while watching TV in the evening.
I’m glad I didn’t buy any then if they are a bit ‘sloppy’ I have tried a couple of other ones but we cant get them very often round here- only if there is a specialist market visiting which isn’t very often ![]()
How bloody disgusting! No wonder the beautiful creatures of this planet are gradually becoming extinct. You must be very proud of your contribution UJ.
What next? Roasted lion? Slow cooked cheetah? Mayhap some grilled giraffe?
Animals were not put on this earth for us to eat, and no, I’m not vegetarian, but there are limits. I only eat, very rarely, farm raised meat, and I am ashamed to admit that.
I bet you’re shocked when you read about an animal attacking a human being and eating part of them. What’s the difference?
Anyway, for my tea, I had chips, egg and beans. ![]()
Fancy eating an embryonic chicken. Bloody disgusting:lol:
