What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Well Hazel … if your in the mood for cooking , and im in the mood for eating … i will be right over .

Chicken casserole with carrots, swede, turnip, tomatoes, onions, red peppers, garlic, parsley, thyme in my slow cooker and new pots.
an rhubarb crumble an custard for afters:twisted:

Didn’t catch it myself Uncle Joe. I’ve not had rabbit for years, but I think I could have cooked it better myself - it was a bit too salty and the sauce was too rich and thick. Plain old rabbit stew would have been better for me.

Oh what a shame I’ve eaten it. Today it’s rolled shoulder of lamb done with garlic, rosemary and thyme, Ormskirk new pots, greens and leeks (fried in a little butter) and some more of those carrots (chantilly or something like that)

Liver for us today, can’t wait.

Have taken a chicken breast out of my freezer last night and will be doing a stir fry with Iceland’s ‘Oriental veg mix’ and either a curry sauce or one of the chinese sauces I have.

I got some chicken livers yesterday one of my favourites with home made chinese curry.

I love chicken livers cooked in chilli and garlic. They make a tasty starter.

get a packet of cheap basic noodles 19p mix in beans 29p and melt in some cheese …a cheap filling meal you can add flavours ie curry chilli or anything …nice and cheap if you are on the dole …:-p

will give that one a try love chilli and got 2 packs livers.

was doing alright till got to adding chilli or curry, is this with the cheese or instead of??

lol…i just mix n match depends wot is in the cupboard

we had salad today

So did I, Kitty, with a pork pie, cheese and silverskins. Just had some mushroom soup as well.

So did I with garlic chicken and funny new pots (like fingers) lovely, round at son and daughter in law’s house

Will be eating a Haggis later today, with a potato, parsnip and celeriac mash and gravy.

that sounds good, haven’t had the mash, have had celariac and know it has a celery type taste. I like haggis, I lost 1/2 st in a week on holiday in Scotland through eating haggis, I had it for breakfast then didn’t want anything else all day.

Hazel darlin’ - I quite often vary the mash, depending on what vegetables are available to me, f’r instance have used sweet potato, turnips, and swede too. Sweet potato makes a delightful mash which is not only sweet, but colourful too.

As the benefits agency have suspended my JSA I will probably be having IFFIT pudding …today and bread and pullit tomorrow …

Steve matey - on what grounds??? - don’t let the ba**ards get away with that, lodge an appeal. If you need help doing that my friend, PM me.
