What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

I don’t know what I fancy. :frowning:

Mollie darlin’ - how about Blesbok casserole???

Just had a lovely roast vegetable Lasagne with a green salad followed by sliced pear with walnuts

Roast chicken dinner. Apple upside down pudding with custard for the rest of the family but a banana with a little custard for me.

went to my parents tonight after work, dad made a lovely chicken stew followed by golden treacle sponge

My hubby and kids suffered the local chippy

A roast turkey salad and a jacket potato. Fresh fruit salad for sweet.

Steak, salad and jacket potato  no pudding today

I made a hot and spicy paella tonight for tea. My word, it was gorgeous as well, but a bit hotter than I’d anticipated.

took bolognaise sauce out of the freezer cooked penne, was very tasty will make it again not had lamb stew with penne before, must try and convince myself I do not know what these things are unless I label them.Dog enjoyed his share too.

:lol: I’ve done that, Hazel. Frozen something without labelling it, then I’ve had a few surprises when I’ve thawed them out.

Tonight I made a mega Mexican chilli beef-burger. A barm cake/bread roll sliced in half with the burger on one half, and salad on the other half. I’m still full from it as the beef-burger was one from the butcher so didn’t reduce to the size of a 50p piece once grilled.

A roast pork dinner for this evenings meal, no sweet.
And a glass or two of wine.

had pork and veg sprinkled with sage rosemary and veg oil and roasted. Lovely followed by strawbs, no cream.

Tonight I had some slices of turkey, a little sausage, roast spuds and veg with gravy.

I’m toying with the idea of having a small steak tomorrow night with some Jersey Royals which I bought today, with salad. Is that odd, or is it normal?

My appetite has been very strange just lately.

There’s nothing wrong with you at all, why would it be odd perfectly normal. I have odd food at odd times but if I’m happy eating it, it doesn’t matter,

Ta Hazel. I once had a salad meal which included a steak and little boiled potatoes. This was at a friend’s house and I’d never seen that combination before, but it was nice combining the hot with the cold.

When new spuds come out as now (Ormskirk and Pilling are lovely) I always have them with salad either hot or cold.

today it’s spatchcocked chicken (with garlic and herbs) Fir Apple pots, asparagus, baby carrots (with a funny name) and sugar snaps.
I’m not greedy but am in the mood for cooking:lol::blush:

We went out for lunch today and I had rabbit.

Rena darlin’ - did you catch it yourself???

We went out for our evening meal. I had sizzling chicken skewers with piri piri sauce and it was excellent.
