Today the whole family had a different meal, its such a pain when that happens but the kids wanted pizza so that was easy
made up ones at Tesco are very nice.
I had a steak with chips and baby peas, cooked by my daughter and it was very nice indeed.
Hubby had something he got out of the freezer last night
the label had come off:shock: but he said it looked like
chicken,
it was fish with some sort of sauce on which he had with rice.
Well it will be an early tea for us today as the voice is on early, we are having M&S pork pie and chips, mine hot and Joe has his pie cold. We dont eat lunch. When you get older you dont eat as much so we avoid lunch.
I’m the same Annie. I never eat a cooked lunch these days.
Tonight I’ve had chicken, carrots, cabbage and creamed potatoes which I covered in melted butter then put under the grill to crisp up a little on top - and chicken gravy. ![]()
You speak for yourself Annie darlin’ - age has had little effect on my appetite and yes I DO eat both lunch and ‘Tea’.
Glad about that I thought perhaps I was getting younger.![]()

Supreme Champion Hazel darlin’ - I’d be supreme champion!!!
And you think he’s joking Hazel?
Had Turkey breast roasted, roast potatoes, peas (I love peas) and the last of the runner beans and peppers which I froze end of last year.
We had lunch out. I had chicken, ham and leek pie with chunky chips. I was too full for a sweet.
Was out for Lunch the Day, had a Tuna and Spring Onion Sandwich with a few Crisps on the Side. Along with a Latte…Just enough and nice too.
SNAP!!! - I did the same Mall darlin’ but with peas too and gravy - it was delicious!!!
A jacket potato…hubby will have chilli con carne on his and I have some left over macaroni cheese - quite filling.
I’ve just remembered…I forgot to order the veg for the stew I was going to make tomorrow…idiot.
Fish with a jacket spud and salad.
Dear Hazel - there is no such thing as an ugly reindeer
I suppose I’m a bit odd. I had my evening meal at around 6 p.m. with roast beef, mixed veg, roast potatoes and onion gravy, but by 9 p.m. I was hungry again, so I had a prawn and ham salad! Bear in mind please, that these are the only meals I eat in a day, apart from half a butty at work in the afternoon.
blow what you had to eat someone else calls them butties. of course you’re not odd looking at the time the message came it’s only like having breakfast dinner and tea. I often have breakfast at 5.30/6am specially in summer when I have it outside when it’s sunny.
Didn’t have 'breakfast this morning (Yes I know :shock::shock:) instead went for a ‘brunch’ at a ‘greasy spoon’ cafe - the full works, sausages, eggs, bacon, beans, mushroms, hash browns, and toast. Later this evening am being ‘treated’ to a superb Chinese Restaurant meal.
Chicken stir fry today.
