Tonight I’ve had grilled garlic and herb sausages, mashed potatoes, garden peas and carrots-all washed down with a mug of tea-lovely
Curried chips yep, I could’nt believe it, the chippy asked if I’d like to try them, they were great.
This is what I had after the curried chips, home made burgers an beans, . . lovely grub.

Mouthwatering pics; you should moonlight for a cooking magazine!
Tonight here is pasta e fagioli, salad and ciabatta roll. Might take a pic and make you hungry too!
Tonight I had roasted chicken sprinkled with herbs, mashed potato, garden peas and cut green beans followed by a mug of tea-very nice it was too
Might be burgers tomorrow after seeing Nero’s home-made ones. Only difference is mine will be shop-bought
Here’s the pasta dish…very tasty!

Noooo, . . make your own,
Raw mince, a small tray will do.
2 eggs.
Breadcrumbs.
1 large onion, chopped finely.
Mix the whole lot up in a bowl, (get your hands in there and squidge the mix well) remove a tennis ball size of the mix and palm it into a disc, continue 'till you have the number of burgers you need then fry them slowly in veggie oil.
I like mine well done but it’s up to individual tastes, just make sure they’re cooked all the way through.
As Fanny Craddock used to say, (remember her) here’s one I made earlier.
You’ll never buy a shop burger again, believe me.
I try to avoid this thread as it makes me so hungry! But I really fancy minted lamb shanks with mash & broccoli today!
I prefer home made burgers too, Nero, also well done, and with lots of sliced onion and mustard on a sesame-seeded bun.
Very nice DM, . . is that melted cheese I see in there ?
Indeed it is…finely shredded mozzarella. White beans, tubetti (AKA ditalini), coarsely chopped tomatoes with some of their juice, oregano and freshly ground pepper. Yum!
As Fanny Craddock used to say, (remember her) here’s one I made earlier.
[COLOR=“Blue”]I remember her husband John saying “I hope your doughnuts turn out like Fannys” hehehe:lol:
Thanks for recipe Nero-just hadn’t got a lot of time today. Did have burgers (from the shop) with garden peas and potatoe wedges-can’t say that I really enjoyed it-will have more time tomorrow to prepare something fresh-could be either lamb or pork chops!
Tonight I’m having stuffed peppers, . . . and chips of course, . . home made ones.
Now where’s that recipe for the peppers, . . I seem to have lost it.
It’s probably in a file marked ‘stuffed peppers’
Monday is cook’s (me) night off: bacon and cheese on a sub roll, crisps, fresh spinach.
My dinner is just about ready and I am having a stuffed pork chop, mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts.
Sounds good to me buzzie-enjoy:-)
Tonight I had garlic sausages, mashed potatoes, garden peas and cut green beans-very nice too
That sounds, soooo good. Looks like you like mashed potatoes and veggies too.
I had the stuffed peppers as you can see, they were very nice, I did’nt keep to the the recipe however, I stuffed em with long grain rice from a relative of mine (uncle Ben’s) and Tuna all topped off with cheddar then grilled for 5 mins, yummy they were good.

The lids placed back on.

If you have a go and they wont stand, slightly trim part of the bottom to level em off, be careful not to cut right through though.
