What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

I have just had my evening meal - a home made korma curry - king prawn and mushroom with boiled rice, followed by a yoghurt.

Chicken korma curry, boiled rice and naan bread…

Soup again …roll.

Saturday morning: Will be having fish 'n chips lunchtime today.

We had the most amazing chicken curry last night with parotas. My son made it and it was soooooo spicy and totally delicious my house smells like a really good Indian Restaurant. Yummy. I am going to make a potato and spinach curry (Aloo saag) to go with the left overs.

It’s usually Chinese on Saturdays but somehow am not in the mood for that so think I’ll fix a nice Italian meatball sub, either sweet corn or fresh spinach and crisps. Chocolate mousse cake for dessert.

I’m afraid I really hate korma. That was my very first introduction to curries many years ago and I gagged on it and the colour is off-putting for me as well.

For me tonight will be a home-made fiery prawn madras with rice.

first day off for ages so i will be treating the family to
Chicken Bacon and leek pie in a creamy cheese sauce
with new potatoes and veg.

not sure yet what to have for pudding.

Kitty darlin’ - steamed chocolate sponge pudding and chocolate sauce perhaps???

Kitty if you get time would you put your recipe for the pie on the recipe thread it sounds lovely for a cold day.

Tonight will be pasta e fagioli, tossed salad, roll and a bit of the chocolate cake.
