What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Full Sunday Roast with Beef, roast tatties, carrots, onion, parsnips and leeks and gravy.

Just a small fry-up today.

There’s beef left from yesterdays roast, so will chop it into small chunks and make a curried stew with suet dumplings of it.

Lunch = club sandwich.

Dinner = Lincolnshire sausages, eggs, left over potatoes diced and fried, peas and sweet corn. Followed by the last portion of fruit salad. I feel another trip to the farm shop coming on

Well you’ve got the sausages and eggs, but where’s the bacon, black pudding, mushrooms and baked beans darlin’???

That’s breakfast, UJ, not dinner!

Macaroni cheese tonight, Slimmer’s World style.

They’ve got some more new dinners out now Judsy.
Have you seen them?

Homemade Lasagna and Salad today.

Scrambled eggs on toast for lunch today with a big squeeze of ketchup!

Am still wading down my cauldron which is full of stew and suet dumplings!!!

Morrisons lunchtime, had a sliver of salmon, baby potatoes, peas, and hollandaise sauce. And a pot of tea.

Something light and quick for supper.

Today its:

Lambs Liver, Mash, Peas with fried onions in thick gravy.

Susie, do you feel like eating with your cold? Normally I don’t enjoy my food.

Will raid the freezer today.

Ohhh I so love liver and onions, its a real treat, Enjoy

Home made herb pasta with roasted portabello mushrooms, tomato and basil salad.

The first of some English raspberries.

Will still be plumbing the depths of my Cauldron with my stew and dumplings.

Blimey Joe, thats been on the go a while now, aren’t you bored with it yet? Aren’t the dumplings like wee bullets by now?

Its a very large cauldron, so there’s plenty still in it. My dumplings are still very soft and (suet) pudding(y) - just perfect. Anyway stew always tastes a lot better the 2nd, 3rd or 4th day.

Not yet Mups, haven’t had the chance to get to Iceland yet. The SW macaroni cheese was home-made and totally sin-free
