No Jazzi, this morning I had just 1 slice of toast, then for dinner, I had 2 pieces of liver and tablespoon of mash, and that was it.
Chipolatas in red onion sauce, Charlotte potatoes, green beans, baby corn and carrots.
My Tesco delivery arrived this afternoon.
Lunch = probably a walk around the table and a fresh air sandwich - have a busy day planned.
Dinner = Paprikash, with cheesy mash and steamed courgettes. Everything is prepared - just need to light the gas and open the wine!
That sounds good, what time do you want me to come?
Anytime after 7:00pm for dinner at 7:30pm. Don’t forget the tiara!!

Homemade Chicken Curry, Rice and Veg. Spring Roll.
Used up the last piece of my beef joint, chopped and in the cauldron, made 2 litres of gravy, added 3 carrots, 2 parsnips, 2 onions, 2 large potatoes, some red lentils and a teaspoon of curry powder - now bubbling away quite merrily - will be ready to eat shortly!!!
Egg Salad today.
I’m marinating Chicken Breasts, then once cooled, I will cut them in thick strips and have with a Salad and a few new potatoes.
Sounds delicious - what is in the marinade?
I had crumpets with apricot jam and Shropshire red cheese for breakfast,
Veg soup planned for lunch
Dinner = lasagne and garlic bread.
still plumbing the depths of my cauldron - there’s still some stew and dumplings left sufficient for my lunch today.
Roast gammon dinner tonight as we didn’t have a roast on Sunday
I prefer gammon in the week as the left overs do the sandwiches for lunch the following day

I use Indian spices.
Curry Powder, chilli, s&p, tandoori, garlic, coriander and just a tiny bit of sweet chilli sauce.
Having an Indian Take-away today, so no cooking for me.

Having been to hospital and had blood test, I had some to kill whilst waiting for the result of that test, so went and had a breakfast at a ‘greasy spoon’ cafe not far from the hospital. t’was really big, so didn’t need lunch, but am now thinking of what to have for my tea.
Been such a lovely couple of days and totally sweltering in work, that I thought sod it, and lit the BBQ
Had a hunt in the freezer and found some pork burgers from my friends pig and some chicken drumsticks, made some salad and coleslaw and cooked some Jersey Royals and sat outside enjoying the evening with a glass of ice cold extremely crisp and dry cider
As usual, over cooked so lunch boxes are made up for me and him so I get an extra 20 mins in bed tomorrow
