What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

I love to make soups too Lion Queen, I often make them to use up veg.

Was in a cafe yesterday and they were charging £5.50 for a small dish of Veg Soup with roll, quite a moneymaker if they sell any!

That was breakfast, lunch , dinner and tea UJ

I wasn’t at work today, I don’t need to eat so much just pottering about doing not a lot

Tomorrow will be as little, but Thursday and Friday Ill have cereal, something for lunch and then come home and have dinner because those days I will be working bloody hard and need the energy

Actually I might have a poached egg later

I had an M & S dish with chicken in a parmesan sauce and pasta followed by some black grapes.

I see such deals advertised on boards, also the coffee and a cake for £5. Such a waste of money, I think.

Lunch was a BK cheeseburger, fries and coke.

Supper is a pizza from Iceland. Pulled pork and pineapple.

I have a weakness for coffee and cake though Ffosse!

I love pickled gherkins. I’d eat a whole jar if it were possible. Do Mcdonalds still have them in bugers?

Don’t know Annie, its been a long, long time since I had a burger from there, I know it was the cheapest burger, I had to buy it for my Mum when we went out a Hamburger with Gherkin and Ketchup, it was lovely.

Roast Pork today, 1 Roast Potato, Baked Onion, Parsnip, Swede & Carrots.

I buy the Jewish ones - Thelma, long slices in a jar.

Shall finish the pizza, maybe for lunch, but supper will be from the freezer.

Watch this space…

Making a mushroom risotto today.

Salmon tagliatelli today with peppers, frozen peas and a Philly/milk sauce.

Roast gammon dinner here

I shall use the boiling liquid for soup - lentil and bacon

Ive also got a huge jug of double cream, picked up some reduced quark yesterday so will be making a Baileys cheesecake for desserts and a pile of profiteroles for the guys in work to finish up the cream

Thankfully I don’t have a sweet tooth. Im happy to bake away and not tuck in myself

New recipe today-spring risotto done in the slow cooker.Hope it turns out okay.

Good grief Missy! I’d certainly be tucking in.

Still not decided on supper.

Now if I was at someone’s house and they had gone to the bother or baking , I’d eat then

But no, I don’t take dessert or pick at biscuits and cake

I used to, I could easily have demolished a packet of biscuits with a cuppa, but not anymore

It’s handy actually, so many aisles in the supermarket I have no need to walk down

Chemo day today so always as a treat, Fish & Chips from the chippie!

Will order a portion of chips from the Chinese, and when home (will take Holly for a walk too), will do some bacon grill. And I have a few beans to heat up.

The rest of the chips will do for another day.

Pork strips, baked sliced potatoes and whatever vegs I have left.

I have defrosted a chicken kiev, will reheat the chips in the oven, with some grated cheese on top, and do some peas.
