What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

We had hunters chicken from lidl with jacket potatoes and broccoli.

I love hunters chicken Newcomer but have only had it in a restaurant. Was the Lidl version good?

We are eating out Japanese style tonight, a Christmas present!

Lunch was a corned beef sandwich.

Just had Chicken Curry, Rice and Garlic Bread.

Chicken, Chips & Salad

Chicken pie, wedges, carrots, broccoli and leeks.

just got back from tea at the pub with a group of friends, we went to a pub called Blacksmiths Arms and the food was superb, first time I’ve been there but I will definitely be going again, just told husband we will go for our Saturday lunch there this weekend. I had fish & mushy peas, one friend had steak pie, mash and veg, another had lasagne with garlic bread and salad and my other friend had scampi, wedges and peas, the scampi dish had 12 pieces of scampi on it! Very generous portions £10 each, great value and beautiful food.

LQ, Fish & Mushy peas, is that all you had, no potatoes, chips to go with it?

ooops sorry I had mash

Cheese and crackers tonight, and a glass of milk. Didn’t want a cooked meal.

Today we are having:-

Smoked Haddock, Boiled potatoes, Cauliflower Cheese & Carrots.

Making a batch of my famous millionaires shortcake today to take to the caravan at the weekend we are having a party all contributing, so after I’ve sampled and tasted I doubt I’ll fancy lunch probably be in a coma by 4pm

Where is Uncle Joe?

Boil in the bag kippers for lunch - soooo tasty!

I’m here Susie darlin’ - just been cooking my lunch - the happy twos - two 1/4 pounder burgers, two Cumberland Sausages, two portobelllo mushrooms, two rashers of bacon and two fried eggs.

Having eaten it all, am now thinking what I can have for tea.

I thought you wouldn’t be too far away from food UJ.

I’ve just made a homemade minestrone soup for tea, I love to cook homemade soups. I should can my soups, I might make a fortune.

I treated myself to a lunch out

Goats cheese bruschetta with a small greek salad and beetroots
