What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Hi

Fish and vegetables in a spicy sauce.

I don’t eat meat very often but today marinated some deboned beaten lamb loin chops in garam
masala/garlic/ginger/yogurt grilled them and served with basmati rice/ coriander/tomato salad/ cucumber raita and mango chutney. It was delicious :slight_smile:

oh yum Meg, I will try that very soon, thank you.

Megs Lamb does sound nice.

Today we are having a roast dinner with Gammon.

Just taken some Pork belly strips out of the freezer, will do a Stir fry with mixed veg and noodles.

Todays I am making:

Chicken Casserole and Vegs.

Lunch will be Morrisons salad from help yourself counter, and cheesy tiger bread.

Supper: I am defrosting a portion of home made spag bol and ratatouille.

Good Friday, so got to be fish, I have some Sea bass fillets defrosting, will make a white wine and mushroom sauce, spinach and herby potatoes.

Just a light late lunch early dinner for me, as I had quite a large fish meal yesterday, and a couple Hot X Buns this morning, so a cheese board with grapes biscuits and a couple glasses of Port.

Full Sunday Roast (beef) again today

Roast beef dinner here as well

beef was in the slow cooker over night. Going to roast carrots, parsnip and spuds. Make cauliflower cheese and we have cabbage and peas

Plus of course my super dooper Yorkshire puddings

Pudding is Easter egg :slight_smile:

Chicken kiev, crispy potato slices with cheese on top, and veg.

Roast lamb with all that goes with it, apple pie to follow, 10 for lunch and loads of Easter eggs.

No Easter dinner for us today.

Meat Pie, Roast Potatoes, Swede and fine beans.

Did I ever mention how much I love pie?:lol:

Home made leek soup and a hot home made bread roll straight from the oven :slight_smile:

Oooh Meg, please don’t tell me that you are going to dunk that bread roll in the soup…or I may have to come and join you!:mrgreen:

Oh course Twink :smiley: and with lashings of butter on them …
