Chicken Curry and Rice today.
Sliced beef and tomato Chinese meal today with fried rice
Homemade beef pie with potatoes and carrots
Finished the rabbit stew and dumplings yesterday, have taken out pieces of chicken from freezer and alllowing to defrost - will do a chicken roast later this morning.
Probably take the pie and mash meal out of the freezer when I get home, which could be as late as 7 or so, if I stay till the end (6).
Feeling a bit peckish right now so have ordered an Indian takeaway, expecting delivery very soon.
Chicken tikka Madras, pilau rice, mango chutney, plus half a Tandoori chicken and curry sauce and a portion of chips.
Not all for you I hope Malcolm?
Just had Gammon, R. Potatoes, Carrots & Brocolli, gravy.

Tut, tut Susie darlin’ - you and Julie are eating rabbit food  From the chicken I cooked on Sunday I made a chicken curry with some of it yesterday and there’s enough left over for my lunch today.
Today I will be eating the remains of yesterday-pulses and spices and garlic -best not kiss anyone and it is windy.
Saving myself for the weekend UJ, got a few treats planned for Saturday so saving the calories for that. ![]()
UJ, i’m having a lot of problems at the moment with my Diabetes and Insulin, and i’m getting really depressed about it all, anything that I eat my sugar levels seem to go sky high, I might starve myself tonight and it will probably still be high.v:cry:
Have you got a practice or diabetes specialist nurse you can talk to Susie ![]()
Susie darlin’ as you know I too am diabetic, but yet I eat cakes, biscuits, sweets, choccie biscuits, sweet puddings and all. My Doctors have prescribed METFORMIN for me and providing I take that regularly (every night) I’m fine. When I was first diagnosed I did ask about a home blood-sugar testing kit, but Doctor said no and wouldn’t sanction the test strips, which apparently are fiercely expensive, so I have no idea how high or low my blood sugars levels are, apart from a yearly diabetic check. The last one was a few weeks ago and apparently my blood sugar reading was 42 (whatever that means).
I love metformin, two tabs every morning and then eat whatever I like. But pulses and garlic does make one fart.
Yes Goldielocks, I do go to a Diabetic Clinic, they have changed my Insulin but it seems to be worst now.
UJ, your Diabetes is not as bad as mine, you are only on the Metformin tablets, I am Type I, Insulin dependant, I have to inject Insulin 3 times a day and take 4 Metformin tablets.
