What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Grilled, butterflied chicken breasts and a salad like this with avocado added at the last minute

Today, Matthew, I will be doing a chicken dinner of some sorts. Might do a roast, if I can be bothered to get up, clear all the dirty dishes and cutlery in the bowl and sink, and prepare some vegetables.

I had a bacon and mushroom omelette followed by strawberries, blueberries, cherries and a little cream. Mmmmm…

That was why I missed it. I didn’t look far enough. Thank you.

I had a ham sandwich for dinner and a glass of vegetable juice. Not too hungry.

Today I’ll be having steak, onion and mushroom casserole with cabbage, carrots and new potatoes

Took Rabbbit from my freezer last night - its now thoroughly defrosted, so later this morning will be peeling and chopping: onion, carrots, parsnips, swede, celeriac and potatoes, making Gravy and suet dumplings - yes having another Rabbit stew!!!

Having an Indian meal today.

Chicken Tikka, Mushroom rice, dry veg. curry.

Avocado and prawns to start…then…
Gammon shanks, boulangere potatoes, cauli, swede, carrots and celery…rice puddin’ to follow

Probably cheese on toast today, got to do a double shift this evening so don’t want to spend time cooking much today just rest myself ready for the extra work.

Salmon salad today, got to eat better as my Diabetes is playing me up a bit.

No lunch today saving myself for pizza making this evening, will be taking some friends of grace to the caravan for a sleep over and they are making pizzas. Should be fun.

Broad beans and bacon on toast for lunch today, although I rather fancy fish and chips for a change. :slight_smile:

Wading down through my cauldron of Rabbit stew that I made yesterday !!!

Chicken and ham cassoulet today, with red wine, herbs and spices plus celery, peppers and cannellini beans…magnifique !

I had broc and stilton soup lunchtime (the rest of the can I opened the other day). For supper will probably be spag bol. I’m defrosting a tub of the sauce I made this week, or alternatively I have three sausages left, for a meal of sausage, mash, beans and onions, with gravy.

Will decide in an hour or so.

For lunch nice home made rolls with ham and salad. This evening slow cooked casserole

for dinner I had chicken sandwich and for tea homemade steak and mushroom pie with new spuds and stacks of veggies.

It’s the sausages tonight. Lunch was toasted ham and cheese sandwiches.

We had:

Fresh Salmon Steaks which I marinated in fresh ginger and chilli flakes, with new potatoes and fine beans.

Had a cheese sandwich tonight.
