People, people, people - all this rabbit food - YUK!!! - I can see I’m seriously going to have to take you all in hand.
My lunch earlier this afternoon consisted of Toad-in-the-hole, boiled potatoes, mixed veg and gravy. That was around 13.30, its now 18.30 and I’m thinking of getting more food for my ‘tea’. Perhaps a cheese and onion pastie or a scotch egg.
No chocolate cake, Uncle Joe?
Southern fried chicken drumsticks, along with battered potato slices. All cooking nicely together in the oven. Then. I have to put on a brave face, and go head to head with that Tiramisu.
I made one last weekend for Jean, her daughter and Sister - it disappeared very quickly Mags darlin’!!!

Homemade soup, roll, fried apples for dessert.
Tonight I had Indian food delivered. I got a mixed starter, then a prawn samber and pilau rice to follow. I’ve by no means eaten it all, and the remainder will be put into cartons for the freezer, so I can enjoy another day.
Saturday: - Fish 'n chips today, but took a large joint of beef out of the freezer this morning. Will cook it slowly later after its defrosted, ready for for a full roast beef and all the trimmings tomorrow lunch-time.
I adore roast beef and all the ‘bits’. But it is just not economical to do it for just one. So I sometimes go round to the local Wetherspoons, where you also get a free drink included. I am still puzzled though, why they include stuffing balls in with all the trimmings.
FM do what I sometimes do and buy a small joint of beef, cook it and take what you need for your meal then slice up the rest, pop into individual meal sized cartons and freeze.
My freezer is full of left-over stuff as I hate to throw food away.
I dont know why they do stuffing balls either as I think they’re horrid. I make my own stuffing, and I don’t mean out of a packet.
Its home made fish pie for us tonight with cauliflower cheese.
For pud apple sponge with cream.
Just raided the fridge and thrown onto the same plate, a tomato, hard boiled egg, lettuce, cheese, corned beef and two bars of chocolate.
Slurp! That sounds good, Kitty. I’ll be having some more of my prawn samber, then the rest will go in the freezer.
The carvery meals I go for each week, also have stuffing balls and yorkshire puds on the counter, maybe because 2 of the meats on offer are turkey and roast beef… any way I digress, tonight I am having a goodfellows chicken and fajitas pizza
Chinese night: fixing steamed pork potstickers, and Spring rolls. Some chocolate mousse cake for dessert.
I make my own stuffing too, Mollie.
