What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Will probably bung into the microwave a cheap Asda sweet and sour chicken and rice.

Hi Sue :039:

Sunday roast (chicken) and all the trimmings.

Twink, i’m doing better today, having an Indian take-away, but only having Chicken Tikka and Dry Veg. curry.

Well done Susie!

veg’ smoothie/yog’ berries for lunch…Roast chicken/pot’s/veg for dinner.

We have my Mum here for weekend and she can’t eat certain meats. So we’re having a large roast chicken, roast parsnips and potatoes, leeks in cheese sauce, carrots, Brussels sprouts, stuffing, Yorkshire puds and gravy!

dessert is going to be a shop bought lemon cheesecake.

Beef in red wine casserole, boiled potatoes, savoy cabbage, mashed swede followed by Eve’s pudding and custard. That should keep the cold out

Sausage rolls with mushrooms, tomatoes, shallots and peas

Chocolate sponge and chocolate custard for pud.

If we’re home on a Sunday its always brunch at lunchtime - bacon, egg, sausage, black pud, beans and tomato with a cafetiere of coffee.

Dinner today is roast chicken, roast spuds, carrot, cabbage, using up the leftover veg in the fridge before holiday. We only have puds one day a week when the grandkids come to dinner.

For dinner we are having sweet potato chips with lightly battered fish

A Morrisons gammon steak, grilled, with pineapple, roast potatoes, carrots and peas.

And a raspberry mousse from Waitrose (reduced price).

Its Fry-up day today.

Me - Egg, bacon, mushrooms and a few beans.
Husband - The same with extras, tin tomatoes, fried bread and bread & butter, sausages.
