What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

That’s ashame UJ, I would have especially gone out of my way to buy you some black pudding to go with it.

a couple of slices of yesterday’s chicken, spinach, grilled tomato (yes, it’s a ‘2’ day). Himself will have my version of chicken biryani with veg curry sauce

A sandwich and packet of crisps will be the same all week as we are a bit busy this week to be cooking much.

A BLT Tiger roll for lunch…Chicken curry & Nan bread for dinner.

Its alright Susie darlin’ - the ‘pie of the month’ at my local pie shop was a breakfast pie - sausage, egg & bacon inside a pastry case - t’was delicious!!!

A frozen chicken and veg pie (quite small, so will bulk up with more cooked chicken), boiled potato, carrot and peas. And gravy.

Nice healthy dinner today, we had:-

Smoked Haddock, boiled potatoes, cabbage & carrots.

For lunch I re-heated the remains of last nights cottage pie for me and Poppy and for dinner im going out for a meal and a gossip(catch up) with my friend who ive not seen for over 6 months :slight_smile:

We had a pub lunch
Scotch egg and picallili
Roast butternut squash and blue cheese risotto with onion crisps
and a half-pint of local ale

Today its:

Hunters Chicken Breasts, R. Potatoes, Cabbage and Carrots.

Going to my Mum and taking faggots for our lunch

Haggis, neeps & tatties!!!

Salmon with roast veg for us, salmon at Morrisons was only £6 per kg. a few weeks ago, so we bought a job lot for the freezer. :wink:

Today we will have pan-fried lamb leg steaks with boulangere potatoes, carrot and swede mash and garden peas.

Got the roast potato, parsnip and kohl rabi in the oven, then in about 11 minutes will put in two small lamb chops. Then put carrot, broc and peas on to cook.

Just had a Jamaican Pattie for lunch yummy!

We had a giant yorkshire pudding each filled with home made beef stew.

Carol darlin’ - should have made a yorshire pudding sarnie - a 12" pudd’n filled with roast beef n’ onion, topped with another 12" pudd’n and topped off with a pile of chips!!!

3 egg omelette and spinach for me
Chicken chausseur and sweet potato mash for himself (large batch to cook, so that will be our Saturday supper and a pile for the freezer too)
