What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Venison Bourguignon with creamed potatoes and roast vegetables - and of course, a bottle of red wine.

I’ve had a roast dinner this evening. With turkey! And sausages and sausagemeat/Stuffing, ham, Potatoes, sweet potato, parsnip, carrot and home grown cabbage.

Very nice it was too.

Precisely!!! - and I don’t reserve Turkey just for Xmas Day - when its available in the shops I’ll eat it any day. I have a guest coming to visit me next week - we’ll probably be eating Turkey yet again.

I always prefer white meats to red anyway, and eat more turkey and chicken than the others, with pork coming a close second (or third).

I ain’t fussed about the colour of the meat - meat is meat, is meat and it all goes down the same hole in largish quantities !!!

I’m only joking with you UJ, I would eat Turkey any day as well.

Today its Fry-up day.

Yes Susie darlin’ - ditto:

Finished off the roast beef from yesterday, with York’s puddin’ cauli, cabbage, carrots, boiled and roast potatoes and lots of gravy

Today its Chicken Curry and Pasta.

With some of the remaining carcass of the Turkey I ate at the weekend, will no make a turkey curry.

Did you eat a whole turkey crown all by yourself ?

Cottage pie with baked beans for us today

Not yet but eventually - yes!!!

In just two or three days ?

Yes - why not???

If you don’t know Joe, then I can’t tell you !

Others on here will tell you - I have a VERY healthy appetite!!!

Sounds VERY UNhealthy to me and to your doctor I suspect.

What I eat and in what quantity is my choice

Except when it makes you ill and then it becomes everyone else’s problem !
