What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Lamb chops/mint sauce mixed veg for lunch,home made chick’ curry/ brown rice for dinner.

Almost always have a brunch on a Sunday and today was no exception. Daughter has invited us to dinner so I know that will be a roast with every vegetable imaginable!!

If I get it cooked properly then a hand of pork. A cheaper cut but one to love,sweet meat and a load of crackling

Agree with your choice of joint, OG. As you’ve probably read in other posts, we raise our own Saddleback pigs, and joints such as the hand are great for dinner.

However, today for us it’s Swordfish steaks with a lemon-garlic sauce.

I had a Lunch Tongue sandwich with a side salad at lunch time.

Tell the freezer to do its own cooking! :lol::lol:

A huge dinner of roast beef and everything else, and jelly and evap.

Today its a fry-up

Today’s lunch was an exact replica of yesterday’s supper. Off out to a committee meeting at 7.30 so had to have the cooked meal earlier.

Might have toast before I go out.

Lunch was my lentil and potato soup with a granary roll.

Dinner will be quiche with salad and oven chips.

Dinner Tonight

Gammon & Pineapple with Grilled Garlic Mushrooms and Tomato with Oven Chips and a Side Salad…

Strawberries with Low Fat Yogurt…

Today it is going to be Braising Steak, boiled potatoes, fine beans & swede.

Today its Thai Chicken Curry and Rice with extra fresh chillies (I like it hot).

Lunch was ham, pineapple and cheese on toast, grilled. ( same as yesterday)

This evening a full roast chicken meal.

A meatless day today so boiled eggs/cheese salad for lunch,and spaghetti bol’ made with quorn mince for dinner.low fat yog’ and berries for afters.

Omelette ,filled with …mushroom, red peppers,and cooked chicken …

Todays its, Fish Fingers, Cheese & Onion Potato Pie & Bake Beans.

I’ll have brunch later. Bacon sandwiches.

Dinner will be with friends tonight at a cheap and cheerful restaurant.

Boil in the bag Kippers, and two Bread and Butter.

Maltesers and whisky. Awesome :slight_smile: .
