What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Jazzi it thickens naturally because of the starchy potatoes

Today we had Steak & Kidney Pudding with boiled potatoes, carrots, f. beans and gravy.

I thought that, thanks!

Cooking some roasties at the moment, and will have the mini toads in holes left over from my Christmas bargain buy.

Today we had a fry-up.

Tonight Tin of Squash & Red Pepper soup and crusty roll.

Today its Chicken Breasts with Roast Potatoes, Parsnips, Dark Greens, Peas, Baked Onion and Gravy.

Tonight Bacon Sarnie.

Today will be Morrisons take away salad with pork pie, (either lunch or supper), and the other meal will be roast pork slices with the full roast accompaniment.

When I have what will depend on what I’m doing today.

Today I am making a Slimmers World, Tuna Pasta Bake, using Quark instead of sauce inside.

B.B.C. - that’s Burgers(home made), beans and chips for dinner.

It was lentil soup and a crusty roll with pumpkin seeds for lunch.

Dinner was the rest of my bolognaise from yesterday.

Stampot today. I’ve been told that Kale is at its best when it has been frosted. Certainly no problem with that !

Leftover fry-up today.

I don’t like Kale, I find it has no taste.

Tonight we are having curried chicken, made in the slow cooker.
I agree about kale I find it quite tasteless and cheap either.:shock:

Dinner will be a roast chicken from Costco, which my partner is bringing over later. They are delicious. So it’ll be a roast chicken dinner tonight.

"I don’t like Kale, I find it has no taste. ".

You must be trying a diferent variety of kale to me.
I certainly wouldn’t buy kale from a supermarket as it is generally ‘massacared’ before being packaged. Too many commercially grown veges have no taste.
This is kale that we grow in our garden. It has plenty of flavour and is a great fresh vegetable at this time of year.

Watched James Martin cooking yesterday, and he put raw kale on the plate with a bit of smoked fish on top. I wouldn’t fancy it raw either.

Today we are having Roast Gammon, R. Potatoes, Swede, Brussels and Yorkshire Puddings.

Last night I had a lovely Morrisons fish pie which had a lot of crunchy topping…very rare as you normally need a microscope to search for it.

I added a few crushed up tomato crisps and a few pieces of cheese. Yes, cheese. Cooked some peas, and it was luvverly.

Today might be sausages, or it might be a Morrisons liver, bacon & mash meal. Prefer the idea of sausages meself, as have beans left over.

Jazzi i love Morrisons fish pie. One of the only ready meals I buy these days.

For lunch it’s fruit loaf, toasted with some jam.

Haven’t decided what’s for dinner yet.

Today we had, Piri Piri chicken with cubed spiced up potatoes and bakebeans.
