What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Just made a chicken pie made with all the roast dinner left overs and a nice white sauce and mushrooms very tasty. We also had some really unpleasant apples so I made a pie out of them too with custard very nice.

Lunch today

I’m at work, unfortunately, so I have my banana and crackers and yoghurt - how boring.

Healthy and low fat marilyno07 which has to be a good thing.

So you made an " unpleasant apple pie " ?

:-p

I`m making Beef and Mushroom Strogonoff for dinner this evening and will serve it on a bed of Basmati and Wild Rice .

Linguine with pesto, ciabatta roll, tossed salad, white wine.

[shock:

So you made an " unpleasant apple pie " ?

:-p

Yep they were hard and not at all sweet so I chopped em up and made a pie and made those little devils taste nice.

LOL

I do hope you added $ht loads of sugar to em

Sugar and some dried fruit, they were eating apples from Tesco but they were really nasty.

Today, I have excelled myself I have made a lovely salad roll to take to work - instead of my usual crackers or bought M&S sandwich - gone off those-all very samey.

Crab curry (made same as shrimp but I use lump crabmeat), ciabatta roll.

Healthy & fat.
Chicken, cream, cocoamilk, curry, red/green/yellow peppers, garlic, onions.

A good friend’s birthday today, so we’re treating her to fish chips n peas from the chippy, with an ice cream cake covered in 69 candles for pud…

A dish that I make that has no name … any suggestions what to call it? Spicy, very nice.

Put some rice on to cook.

Saute a few dried hot chillis, leave the seeds in if you like it hot. Saute chopped green bell pepper, onions and mushrooms. Add coarsely chopped tomatoes with some of their juice, and cooked black beans. Serve over the rice.

I’m thinking curry chicken and rice, green tea and a mandarin orange or two.

Chippy tea tonight, chips, battered sausage and curry sauce.

Sounds like Hot Bean & Vegetable Supper

Today I am going to roast a piece of pork with wedge potatoes and beans and while the oven is on I shall put a chilli in a cassarole to cook at the same time.I shall make some stuffing and thickish gravy and it will be nice.

To make my wedges I quarter potatoes put them in a big bowl and a good glug of oil, and a large dollop of tomatoe ketchup and mix together with pepper and salt I then pop them along side the pork for about 45 minutes

Sounds tasrty, CC! I was going to have ham but changed my mind: swordfish steak, curried cauliflower, little boiled new potatoes, roll.

I made a Lamb n Bean Casserole with yesterday`s left over Lamb .Was delish

This Easter must be the first we haven’t had lamb. Today I am going to bake some subway rolls and make hot pork and stuffing sandwiches.

We will be having yummy lamb steaks tonight - with new potatoes, brocolli and onion sauce, I think.
