What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Bugger it - fancy something norty. Bit fed up eating this ‘good for you’ crap :twisted: .

Should have been having home made mushroom and chicken soup tonight. But guess who somehow left the mushrooms in Morrisons?

At least they didn’t make it to the conveyor belt and therefore on to the receipt, so heaven knows where they are! Distinctly remember picking out 4, putting them in the paper bag, then presumably in the trolley.

Reckon someone nicked em.

Supper was my favourite: chicken kiev, cheesy potato, and peas. And for dessert, a scone , jam and cream (bought a pack of plain scones and a little pot of clotted cream. Always got the jams in stock.)

Cheese salad for veggies and meat eaters had left over lamb with potatoes and salad.

Curry and rice, Samosa

We are having Soup for lunch and Gammon Roast dinner for tonight.

Faggots, mash and veg for lunch today.

Doing breaded fish for meat eater with 100g of low fat chips and peas

having a stuffed mushroom with salad myself if I can stand long enough to do it. Bit of a disaster yesterday but I have plan today that hopefully cannot fail !

Had a tinned salmon, mayo and lettuce sandwich for lunch

Chicken breast with peppercorn sauce and veggies.

Am taking a friend to a ‘pub’ lunch later today. Hopefully they still have Steak & Kidney pudding on the menu.

Baked Silver Hake, with cauliflower cheese, green beans and jacket potato.

Liver casserole + jacket potato.

What??? - no bacon??? Oh George matey - no that won’t do!!!:lol::lol::lol:

I am making Chilli-con-Carne with Pork Mince instead of Beef with Pasta.

Sorry Geoff - of course it had bacon in it.

Fish pie this evening- just not sure which recipe I’ll use. Most likely one for “country fish pie” that uses white fish, salmon, mushroom and boiled egg - with a puff pastry topping.

Sounds fabulous George matey, save me some I’m on the next train heading North.

It will be braised liver and onions, cauliflower green beans and boiled potatoes for our evening meal. A roast ham sandwich for lunch.

Today we are just having a Salmon Salad.

A prawn salad with a small jacket potato, followed by fresh Blueberries and fromage frais.

Vegetarian pasties, carrot and swede mash with cauli and broccoli.

Cheese, biscuits and grapes with sponge cake after, for tea
