Chicken
Salad, ham, corned beef and jacket spuds.
Was ‘out to lunch’ with a friend yesterday - she did me a huge favour whilst I was away so I treated her to a pub lunch. The nearest pub to me, which has new owners and has been renovated now has a very interesting menu. I ate a truly magnificent piece of belly pork, with crackling, mustard mashed potato & pickled cabbage. For ‘pudding’ I had a blackberry Bakewell tart and Apple flavoured icecream. I rounded it all off with a ‘Grand Marnier’. A magnificent meal!!!
Have just had Curry and Noodles.
Tesco value burgers for meat eater with sprouts, green beans and peas, he says the burgers are OK more like hamburgers than beef burgers though but for that price not bad.
Vegetarian sausages with the veg for me.
Probably shan’t bother today ~ rubbish night with little sleep and have not caught up with myself
Sorry to hear that Rachel, hope you feel better and have something tomorrow.
I prefer hamburgers to beefburgers, so I make my own occasionally.
However, on Saturday I won £25 on the lottery so I treated myself to Indian food which I wouldn’t normally be able to afford. Deeelish!
mmm I love Indian (did you save me any Mollie?), I will be having an Indian take-away on Sunday.
Today we are having Turkey, R.Potatoes, R.Parsnips, B. Onion, French Beans & Carrots, Gravy.
Faggots, steamed veg and gravy today.
Jacket potato for lunch.
Chicken tagine with rice for dinner.
Tuna, lettuce and mayo sarnie ~ just finished it thanks
and half a mug of cold coffee left over from yesterday
cooked chick bit and roasted peppers in fridge for later if I fancy them
Vegetarian Mexican food .
Rachel darlin’ going to have to seriously take you in hand about your diet!!! - salad at this time of the year is not good - you need HOT food to keep out the cold. Chicken & peppers, with some sweet corn and rice and a little curry spice to Zizz up a bit is ok, providing you actually get round to eating it all.
Ive made myself a Lancashire Hot pot
and will be having it anytime now…
Rice Pudding to follow
Comfort food …lol
Rachel, you cannot be serious - and half a mug of cold coffee left over from yesterday
A little steak and kidney pudding, cauli and broccoli and mashed swede for us.
Just received a delivery - well yesterday - of … what do you think? It was 22 kg (50lb) of … stuff that is sold in fairs and cinemas … is low calorie yet high in carbos and fibre … goes pop when cooked … guessed it yet?
Yes …

Aren’t you sick of POPCORN MKJ!!!
We are going to have Roast Gammon, Cubed Fried Potatoes, Swede, Peas, Y.Puddings and Gravy.
Cauliflower and broccoli cheese for me , with sausages for my meat eater.
No no nooooo ~ I am in dispute with you UJ
I do not think it necessary to eat hot food, although I DID heat it up a little in the microwave ![]()
Sweetcorn and rice have far too many calories tuts
I LIKE cold coffee :-p
I am a creature of habit and could eat chicken forever.
These meals ~ porridge, Tuna sarnie and then chick bits for my main meal suit me very well but tonight (yes I do have the occasional change) I shall have a pasta bake which I found in the freezer ![]()
erm … think it’s chicken and something … lol
At school I took sandwiches for lunch ~ marmite sandwiches for 5 years ![]()
