Lunchtime today I am making Chinese Chicken Curry and Singapore Noodles. Tonight it will probably just be Tiger Rolls with Cheese.
I may repeat my supper of yesterday to see if I can make it even more fabby.
Chicken breast fillet and roasted veg ~ ie carrots, parsnip, swede and onion

Roast lamb and not sure what veggies to have yet, but definitely roast spuds.
Chicken stir fry, with noodles in black bean sauce.
Haven’t had lamb for ages Stella - this is a good thread for giving ideas about what to have for a change.
We too are having roast lamb, but with new pots, runner beans, peas, cauli and broc.
Certainly is ![]()
Am entertaining - so had full Xmas lunch - roast turkey and all the trimmings and when that has digested will have Xmas pud and Brandy sauce.
Sounds good UJ
I had a tuna and mayo sarnie … no Iceburg lettuce left dammit
For Sunday lunch??? - Rachel darlin’ - we’re going to have to do something about your diet - Sundays is for full roast dinners!!!
Noooooooo … Sunday is but another day innit
I keep washing-up to a minimum now, so can’t be doin’ wiv complicated ‘stuff’
The rest of what we had left over from yesterday plus some savoy cabbage and leeks.
I agree with you Rachel, I don’t stick to traditions, I have what I fancy at the time. ![]()
Oh I wonder what she found in there!!! :surprised:
I quite agree Rachel darlin’ - which is why I use just one roasting tin for both veg and whatever meat I happen to be cooking. Oh I should add that the roasting tin is first covered in foil, that way its only the foil that gets 'dirty and can be peeled off the tin and thrown away and tin, since its clean can be put back to wherever its stored. The only other ‘pot’ that needs washing is the smalll saucepan in which I make the gravy. So washing up after a sunday roast consists of: Plate, knife & fork, 1 small saucepan and accompanying wooden spoon and 1 serving spoon/slice.
Cauliflower cheese I think as it’s just for me today. Meat eater will have a sandwich when he gets a chance as he has a long day today.
Shepherds pie made from yesterday’s leftover lamb.
We had a really big dinner today of: Made my own Chicken Piri with my spices, Baked Potatoes, Baked Parsnips, Baked Onion, Swede, Mix Vegs, gravy.
Popcorn
I have a Gammon Joint cooking at the moment, so will be having that for lunch today.
