No problem Daisymay, I have spoken of it not in depth mainly about his counting which believe me is harder to live with than the food thing, when he can’t leave a carpark until he has counted for the 5th time how many cars are there or how many lines on the pavement we know we are in trouble. But food we cope quite well with just cook everything separately and combine for me and leave in individual bowls for him. Easy.
We have just had: Lasagna, rice & salad. Tonight when i’m watching my Soaps, I will slice up raw carrots and celery.
Grilled gammon (for our friends over the pond this is a thick slice cut off an uncooked ham), with tinned tomatoes, cauliflower cheese, and lovely floury Maris Pipers which will soak up the butter and tomato juices.
Beef stew, potatoes, carrots, parsnips, leeks and suet dumplings.
Lunchtime going to have a Ham Sandwich, tonight Thai Chicken Curry with Jasmine Rice. This evening while watching TV might have cubed Melon with low fat yogurt on top.
Vegetable flan with a cheesy top.
Oh Julie love that must be very hard to cope with. Has he also been diagnosed with OCD as well - Obsessive Compulsive Disorder? I know Asperger’s is a form of autism so it must be difficult indeed.
As for food. Well, I don’t bother with it much these days. I could no more eat a three course meal at either lunch time or dinner than I could flying a rocket to Mars or being a footballer. ![]()
I don’t have breakfast. For lunch at around 2.30 p.m. at work I’ll eat half a sandwich/bap with various fillings, and at tea time I’ll have a small meal of say - a sausage and some mash - then that’s me done, unless I get peckish again, then I’ll have half a tin of soup or a slice of toast at around 9 p.m. That’s a very gracious sufficiency for me, but I am only little. ![]()
Tonight we had lasagne with these ciabatta ‘bites’ thingies, cannot for the life of me remember where I bought them, but they are teeny tiny semi cooked ciabatta rolls with garlic and herb butter, about a doz in a foil tray for £1. Which is a bargain in anyone’s money. Think may have been Lidl, but could not swear to it. But wherever they came from they were light and fluffy and just enough.
Mollie darlin’ - what you eat in a day, wouldn’t even fill the hollow in my tooth!!!

Unless I feel hungrier later not a lot today, woken up feeling a bit odd and definitely not hungry.
That might be because your blood-sugar level is too low Julie darlin’ - in which case you DO need to eat something to bring it back to normal again.
No it’s because I took too many painkillers during the night to sleep. Once they are out of my system I will be fine. Although I may have to take more later to get me to work as I can hardly move today.
Eating lunch
Sandwiches ~ tinned Tuna, Iceburg lettuce and mayonnaise
We just had Chicken Salad for lunch, then this evening we are have cubed melon, pineapple, banana and a low fat yogurt on top.
Pesto over spinach and cheese ravioli… and a spinach, tomato and fresh mozarella salad. AND my lipitor… lol!
Tonight I had a thin slice of chicken breast and stuffing with mashed carrot, three little new potatoes boiled in their skins, two little roasted spuds and gravy.
Normally, roast potatoes take around an hour in the oven, but tonight I decided to try them in lard in my halogen oven and they were done in about 20 minutes or so.
Note to Self: Mollie, go and buy some sage because the packet stuffing is disgusting. Get yer own made again, lass!
Vegetable soup for lunch, then Steak & Kidney Pudding with new potatoes, and vegs. for dinner tonight.
Oooooohhhhh Steak & Kidney pud!!! - one of my favourites - I’m on my way Susie darlin’
I enjoy the mischief making;-) come up and see me sometime.
ok
Today for lunch, I am having fresh crab wrapped in lettuce leaves for my lunch.
I think I am having for dinner salmon and rice and veg, or maybe a piece of fresh fish.
All swilled down with soya latte, or red bush tea depending how I feel.
Still on the painkillers so not huge appetite again, making a vegetable soup for lunch and keeping some back to have for supper.
